300 km from missile systems: Ukraine offers the United States to fully control targets in

imageDespite the Biden administration's opposition to providing Ukraine with LONG-RANGE ATACMS tactical missiles to HIMARS missile systems, Ukrainian government insists on the transfer of these missiles, CNN reports, citing its own sources.

Thus, Ukrainian government, in particular, talks about the transfer of ATACMS, provided that Ukraine will fully and permanently transmit to the United States information on the likely targets that should be hit by this missile.

"Impressive transparency, in fact, gives the United States a veto over Ukrainian strikes against Russia and is intended to convince the administration that the provision of critical weapons will not lead to strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation, which, as the United States fears, will lead to an escalation of the war and direct involvement of the country in the conflict with Russian President Vladimir Putin," CNN said.

It is noted that despite the proposals of Ukraine, the Biden administration does not currently agree on the provision of ATACMS missiles and claims that the Armed Forces are currently effectively coping with the missiles for HIMARS that they have in their assets.

At the same time, the situation may change after Russia "officially" annexed four regions of Ukraine – but CNN is confident that currently the transfer of ATACMS to the United States represents "low remuneration and high risk."
