I have been experimenting with channeling and felt compelled to try channeling a cryptid (which they actually want to be called an inter dimensional being) My husband was nice enough to be my scribe so here is the result! (they also expressed no clear gender so I went with the pronouns they/them)
Channeling Sasquatch
It says they prefer "interdimensional beings" to "cryptids."
They don't understand how people can walk around in nature and not be amazed by every aspect of it. Even now, it's the most beautiful thing we have access to, in their opinion. They've seen enough of the human world to add on the point that it's the only place you can go where nothing will be demanded of you.
Their heart feels a lot of pain over what we've done to nature on the earth, removing more and more of it each day. The ones removing it don't know enough about it, and that's why they do it; if they knew more, they wouldn't be able to. It's filled with food, shelter, beautiful things to look at, and its own version of intuition. If you get to know the sounds out there, and the behaviour of the animals that live there, you'll always be incredibly safe there.
They don't like it much when people go out there and don't try to connect with nature on a spiritual level (like the types doing it for exercise without actually caring about anything around them). They often see nature trying to showcase its beauty, and those people don't notice.
They wish more people spoke to trees, rocks, animals; even the wind "out there" speaks differently than where the humans all tend to live. The trees will share stories and wisdom they've gained over the years, from themselves and other trees (they're all connected). The rocks will tell you what lives around the area, what it's seen from its vantage point. Even if you talk to the dirt, sometimes you can get stories from the stars they came from.
All nature has ever wanted is a partnership with humans, because nature sees humans as part of nature. When people started isolating themselves away from nature, nature would continue to try to reach out (like grass growing through the sidewalk). Nature is always reaching out to humans.
Nature, by her nature, is forgiving and will even beseech the divine on your behalf, if you end up in a desperate place (but of course, the divine has its own plans for everything).
"I (the being) try to follow the signals nature gives me, and if the signal is a big signal, that's when I tend to show up as a warning to others. Although, honestly, I fear most men (specifically), especially the ones who look like they don't belong there."
They think it's funny that men go out hunting and seek the most powerful leaders of the animal kingdom, yet they seem defenceless against their own leader.
"I highly recommend getting to know nature better, if you don't know nature well, and expanding nature as much as possible, but most of all, show it respect."
