If you've been following literary news, you've undoubtedly noticed that during this year's release of copyright materials (aka Public Domain Day), Steamboat Willie was set free.
Steamboat Willie was created in 1928, and is the first iteration of Mickey Mouse. I must admit, I have never watched this cartoon in full until tonight. Thanks to sites like the Internet Archive (aka Wayback Machine), you to can watch it and get grossed out by the cat chewing tobacco, and having the spit blow back into his face. 🤢🤮
