September is here, and I wanted to begin this month by speaking to both the people who have just found my page and those who have been standing beside me for months or even years.
We’ve raised $4,621 toward my $20,000 goal. There is still a long way to go, but something has changed recently.
My transplant journey has finally started moving.
My donor’s evaluation has begun, and the first kidney-function test came back encouraging. There are more tests ahead, but for the first time, the future I’ve been dreaming about feels a little closer.
After six years on dialysis, I dream about the simplest things — waking up without dialysis hanging over my day, being able to drink normally, working again, travelling, eating without constantly calculating everything, and simply having the freedom to plan a life beyond the next treatment.
That is what this fundraiser means to me.
I want to reach the transplant with the financial side taken care of, so I can focus completely on recovery and rebuilding my life.
September is my final stretch. If you are new here, welcome — and thank you for taking the time to read my story. If you've been here for a long time, thank you for not giving up on me.
If you can contribute, please help me take another step toward that brighter future. And if you can't donate, sharing this page could put it in front of someone who can.
I’ve waited six years for this chapter.
Maybe this is finally the month we turn hope into reality. 💙🙏

P.S. To everyone who has supported, shared, encouraged, or simply checked in on me — you have carried a piece of this journey with me. I hope one day I can come back here and tell you: “I made it. I got my transplant.” ❤️
