𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟:
- The client receives exclusive, non-transferable usage rights to the work for personal use.
- Here personal use means: display on social media accounts for promotional purposes with no direct monetization, such as profile pictures, banners, and posts; print and framing in personal spaces; display as part of designs on websites and channels, excluding use in content of these websites or channels. Sign versions should be used for such purposes along with proper credit.
- For commercial usage, commercial fees may need to be paid if the completed order is meant to be used for merchandise/book covers/promotion on paid sites like Patreon. For reference sheets and PNGtubers, the commercial usage is included in the order.
- For products such as merchandise, the client must discuss with the artist and a greater commercial usage fee (2x or more) will be charged. The quote may vary so its best to ask.
- For character design, the client receives intellectual property of the design and their likeness for their use, production and modification purposes, commercial or personal.
- I reserve the right to be credited for the usage of the finished artwork on any platform.
- I reserve the right to post the completed order, compressed and heavily watermarked in my portfolio. Please let me know if you'd like to remain anonymous when your work is posted.
𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗦:
- Upfront payments are highly preferred, although payment plans can also be accepted after first draft and before final product. I will not start unless payment is first made.
- If the client decides to not want to work with me anymore, then please notify me and refunds will be arranged depending upon the progress of the work so far. Please communicate this beforehand before trying to initiate refunds.
- 𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻. This will vary from 50-70% depending upon progress of the order.
𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦:
- Updates will be sent every 2-3 days for revisions. Please be active during feedback.
- I will allow you multiple revisions in the beginning of the work. Please be honest regarding where changes are needed and please do not be hesitant to point out which areas need improvement.
- One day will be given at maximum to spot any required changes.
𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬:
- The TAT is given on the description of the order but you will be reminded again upon contact. My queue will be ordered according to whose deadline is first. Please communicate if your order needs to be completed before a deadline.
- You can check my Trello for your position in the queue.
- Rush orders are difficult to do as it requires shifting my schedule around, but priority will be given if there is a deadline to go by. You will be informed if this is possible for your order.
- High quality pngs will be sent with both the sign and non sign versions via Google Drive, the folder will not stay there for long so please copy and download the files as soon as I send the link.
- You are free to post with credit to me (@hartruen) for the art provided. In case of reference sheets, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 the version without my tag (𝗯𝘆 @𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗻) as it is for credit purposes.
- You are not allowed to share work in progress pictures publicly, a snippet is okay but do not post it regularly and ESPECIALLY for promotion purposes. I'm not comfortable with seeing my incomplete work out there. Please ask me beforehand, once again I reserve rights as the artist to the work even if you own the character.
𝗨𝗦𝗘:
- My work can be used for personal use and commercial use, but I do not allow merchandising of my art.
- The finished work can be printed and used for personal use.
- Usage of the final work in NFTs and/or AI databases is strictly forbidden.
𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
- Communication will be done via Discord/Facebook/Twitter so do provide the correct contact info of your socials so I can reach out to you!
- Please always communicate any issues during this process! I always do my best to be accommodating to my clients and I want to do my best to make sure they're satisfied!
- Please be upfront with what you'd like and not like in your work.
- I will always inform you of any possible delays with your updates beforehand (if I'm sick/have exams etc)
- I reserve the right to cancel your order if you're rude and will be added to a blocklist/blacklist.
𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦:
- As the artist, I have rights to the artwork provided. Even if the client owns the character, I reserve the right to be credited rightfully (@hartruen) when posting on social media platforms.
- DO NOT remove my watermark from my reference sheets. This is to account for not crediting me properly. Concept sketches for character design must not be posted publicly without notifying me beforehand.
