The End of Harpscapes

The End of Harpscapes

Jun 02, 2024

Dear Harpscapes Community,

Over the past several months, I have been monitoring the growth of Harpscapes, and I have noticed a big shift in viewership and interest. New releases have been getting very few views and my attempts to breathe new energy into the project have not been as successful as I had hoped. Therefore, I have come to the difficult decision to stop releasing new Harpscapes.

The last Harpscape will release on Thursday, June 27 and members will get their final bonus email on June 30.

This was not a decision I came to lightly, but I understand the importance of ending this project before I lose creative motivation and inspiration. I am proud of all of the videos I have put out over the past 4 years and hope that they will continue to bring you relaxation for years to come.

With over 200 Harpscapes published, I feel that I cannot offer more than I already have. All of the healing benefits of Harpscapes are available in excess. I theorize that this is one of the reasons why new releases haven't been as successful. You all have your favorite Harpscapes and so do I! That is a beautiful realization.

The other reason for ending Harpscapes is that I have other projects that are becoming more time-intensive. Some I'm unable to disclose right now, but many of you know that, aside from creating music, I have an educational platform for therapeutic musicians and also serve on the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians. These, among other ventures, must take precedence for now.

That does not mean that I will stop releasing music entirely. My plan is to focus on creating longer format videos, which I will release on my YouTube channel and curate for albums. I also plan to offer more livestreams, in the form of therapeutic music and meditations. I invite you to meet me over on my channel if you are not subscribed yet.

What will happen to harpscapes.art?

The harpscapes.art website will be taken down eventually, but I will keep a Harpscapes page available on my main website, harpandwellness.com. I will keep this Buy Me A Coffee site up for the time-being. Even though I am not releasing new Harpscapes, I still have a few offerings in mind, including a new Harpscapes album that is set to release on July 1. I will keep this website open so that I can keep you all informed of this album release and more. All paid memberships will be cancelled.

Most of you have previously opted into my Harp & Wellness emails, so you will be able to stay updated on my general announcements through there and on my Facebook. I hope that this change will free up time to grow my other musical offerings.

Your support of Harpscapes has meant so much to me. The fact that it grew from a whimsical pandemic project to a 4-year-long musical venture is extraordinary, and I have you to thank for it.

I look forward to enjoying this final month of Harpscapes with you.

Peace and blessings,

Nicole
