Running a small business as a mom isn’t just about managing time — it’s about constantly navigating the emotional, mental, and physical space between who I am for others and who I’m becoming for myself.
It’s waking up early or staying up late to create, plan, or package… often in between school runs, emotional moments, messy kitchens, and the never-ending to-do list. It’s answering messages with a toddler on your lap, or pausing mid-thought to deal with the 100th snack request of the day. It’s finding the courage to show up — even when you're tired, overwhelmed, or doubting everything.
It’s also reclaiming your voice. Your purpose. Your creativity.
I’m not just building a business — I’m building a life that reflects who I really am. A woman navigating ADHD, chronic illness, healing from my own traumas, motherhood, and messy, magical growth… all at once.
Some days my mind feels scattered, tasks unfinished, energy drained. But I’m learning to meet myself with more compassion.
Being a woman in business means breaking old patterns, honouring cycles, and redefining success on my own terms. It’s about choosing softness and strength. Being nurturing and bold. Trusting my intuition even when the world expects something else.
And through it all, I want my children to see what it means to follow your heart. To witness that strength isn’t always loud, and success doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s version.
Some days, I feel like I’ve got this. Other days, I don’t. But in every moment, I’m choosing to keep going. To lead with heart. To build something that feels true.
If you're a woman juggling it all and still trying to make space for your dreams, please know: you are seen. You are doing something brave. And it matters more than you know.
