Fernando de Noronha is an archipelogo located 540km from the city of Recife, in the northeast coast of Brazil, and is famous for its paradisiacal beaches and breathtaking landscapes.

With its waters in shades of blue and green, no wonder it's called "The Emerald of the Atlantic". It is in the bucket list of 10/10 brazilians tourists and with a vibrant marine fauna and flora, is one of the favorite destinations for diving.

Its beaches are among the most beautiful of Brazil and even the world.

Due to the archipelago was formed by volcanic activity there are inumerous rock formations, the most known being Morro do Pico and Morro Dois Irmãos.

Small islands, where there is a need of an authorization to be visited, usually given only to researchers

Sometimes the sea can be very agitated

There are also protected areas, such as the Dolphins' Bay, part of the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park.

At early morning it is possible to see spinner dolphins at the bay

There are also many species of birds

The main island (the only habitable) has a small village, with the governor's palace, a small church, a school and some other facilities for the few residents.

From the port departs the fishers boats and one of the preferred activities for tourists, a boat ride around the islands.

Tourists also enjoy to see the sunset from the many existing viewpoints, the preferred being the Forte do Boldró.
