One of the things I’m so excited about coming back home to the Philippines is the opportunity to support Filipino artists, and finally I got my copy of the book Always be Creating, I’ve been dreaming to have this book since its release.
As a self taught artist, it was scary for me when decided to follow the creative path. I wouldn't say it was an overnight decision, I had to overcome a lot of things. One of the things that made me push through my journey was finding an inspiration, not just art but creatives who also share my journey, and artists who inspires me, and I joined art community.
I’m not saying I am super successful now, but one thing I know I am better than last year.
Abbey Sy is one of my biggest inspirations in my creative journey. I’ve been following her since 2016 and until now she keeps inspiring me! To push myself beyond my boundaries, to explore, to enjoy the journey and embrace the uncertainties.

And I must say opening the package and seeing your name hand written on the envelope feels extra special and so personalized, I felt like crying!
