What is time?
We use it every day,
It guides us,
and determines our choices.
What is time?
Is it a leader, a king?
No—
yet we are still its subjects.
What is time?
Can it be touched, seen, or heard?
Some obey it, others resist,
but still, we must follow Time.
What is time?
It moves swiftly,
And gains speed,
As the seasons pass
and the years blend together.
Time.
Some try to hold it, others mock.
Not a thing—
yet it’s always there.
Time.
The wisest listen,
The foolish disregard it,
But in the end,
All must answer to Time.
