My heart swells with love for You, O Lord,
The knowledge of Your grace and mercy
threatens to overwhelm me and
I fall to my knees in praise.
You prepare a home for me—
A sinner deserving to die,
And yet You forgive me,
wrap me in Your loving embrace,
Wipe away my tears,
And stay by my side forever.
I will always keep my eyes on You
And remember Your promises—
Despite the many trials I face.
This world is full of disappointment
and hatred, but I turn my eyes to You—
Where my hope and strength dwells.
You, O Lord, protect and guide
My thoughts and paths,
You are forever my God—my Father.
