Sostieni Ken (until i change it)

i'm a recovering coward turned aspiring bard-paladin. My whole hopeless romantic shtick is collecting and sharing proof (in stories, in poems, and in deeds) that people are better than the ruling classes' anti-social, alienating, terroristic indoctrination has conditioned us to believe-- that things get better when we stop being so afraid of everybody. i'm a full-time interdependent pro-community propagandist, and while i have a job i love in harm reduction outreach (as well as a second job in security i stay at to make ends meet), if people wanted to help me out a little here and there, when i have more than i need i'm happy to use the surplus to help others who are in a worse spot than i am. (And yo, you'd be adding to my evidence pile, too!)

Ultimately, i'm just trying to do right by the heart graft commandment my mom gave me on her way out of the world, when i asked her what was most important, because i didn't want to disappoint her-- she said, among other things, but most importantly: "try to be kind."
