Let's speak on the power of community real quick...
One of my weaknesses is that I’m not great at delegating. Why? Because I do not like to ask for help. I haven’t fully examined why this is, but I’ve been this way most of my life. So the idea of signing up for a platform outside of YouTube where my audience could monetarily support me made me a bit uneasy.
However, I’m glad I stopped listening to the negative voices in my head, because y’all have been showing OUT! I recently broke my camera mic, but because of your support on @buymeacoffee, I bought a brand new one by @rodemic! Thank you so, so much! The IsThatYourHairrr community surprises me every single day - it’s wild. Y’all rock with me, and I rock with y’all right back.
This experience reminds me of a lesson I learned primarily because of YouTube: allow people to show up for you in ways you would show up for others. Can you relate to this?
