Since Janet and I settled for the foreseeable future, on a piece of land here in Mangawhai, we have been looking at our own food systems.
An initial impulse has been to begin establishing a food forest here, and to that end I've had some conversations with Arthur McInnes of Twin Falls Nursery, and James Andrews a dear friend with experience in Holistic Decision Making, Permaculture and Syntropics.
We agreed to host an event here on Easter weekend, with the idea that we use this project as a sample and an opportunity for sharing knowledge on how to go from design to implementation.
