Gas is a nasty business right now. $4 per gallon (if that) amounts to MASSIVE expenses. The only alternative is the one the market's trying to push out. ELECTRIC VEHICLES.
EV'S
Currently, most electric vehicles are too expensive to purchase for the average consumer. Unless you've saved up for years, the chances of getting your hands on one are low.
THIS IS WHY I'M SAVING UP FOR AN E-BIKE. More specifically a RAD POWER BIKE, which goes for around $1,600. Because all my needs are within biking distance (20 miles ) this will cut costs EXPONENTIALLY.
$5 doesn't cut the price down. But it does contribute, and over time, pays it off.
