Welcome to my first post!
Introducing VERNON and the rest of his pals in issue 1 "The Getaway"
(My next post will be about the series and what inspired it).
You can get to know Vernon, his personality, his desires and fears throughout each issue but just wanted to give you an idea of what he looks like.
Aside from Vernon's family, the characters that star in the first issue may or may not make a cameo down the road, haven't decided yet. But this issue was sort of a one-off -- a story to test the waters of what it would be like to work on a personal comic book with another artist.
This issue began as a short story, and as I adapted it into a comic book script, I kept an eye out for comic artists who I thought could pull off the expressions, understand the situation, and be able to illustrate it all on a page. That's when I found Aleksandar Bozic Ske. You can find his amazing work here. Happy to cross paths with him and to be working with such talent.
