As Autumn sets in, Green Hearted has been busy and is planting seeds and cross pollinating for a green, growing future!
Green Hearted is collaborating with our friend Layla, from Beneath The Leaf, on this 6 month, Sustainable Food Production training and Incubator programme in Rheenendal, and are very pleased to have participants from the Community Works Programme attending. Creating an Ecosystem of organizations who support and network for greater scope!
Thanks to your funding, we were also able to offer 2 fully funded bursary places on another Introduction to Permaculture Training (4 sessions) which went to community members who work in gardens nearby. 
One of our favourite actions : We were able to donate a second batch of over 1000 seedlings to be shared between 10 home gardens as part of the Ward 4 Community Gardeners project- and in true South African style delivered them in a bakkie (pick up) kindly lent to us by 1 of our new directors, David. We also shared and delivered more seedlings to the Soup Kitchen garden and another family garden nearby!
The registration is in process and we should be receiving our reg number soon! We have had very positive feedback from a donor organization regarding funding for a demonstration site and garden hub! Stay posted...
