What I do in a day to lose/maintain my weight

With the recent outbreak of COVID-19, my job has been temporarily on hold. For those of y’all that didn’t know, I’m a special needs teacher’s aide for my local day program. It brings my heart so much happiness and joy twice a week. To make things easier on my boss, I eat whatever they’re serving for lunch and snack that day, and my parents will switch off who’s going to bring me that week. I also (usually) follow an intermittent fasting schedule, from about 8:30 AM–4:30 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I’ll usually work out in the evenings, and I’m currently in the middle of about three workouts at the moment. (Morning Meltdown with Jerricho McMatthews, LIIFT 4 with Joel Freeman, and Transform 20 with Shaun T). However, I’m currently taking a break from lift 4 because I don’t want to destroy my shoulders, as I’ve used my arms to walk since as far back as I can remember.

As far as my nutrition is concerned, I use Beachbody's rainbow system. Green is vegetables, I am required to have 4 servings a day, but those are my hardest category to complete. Red is proteins, which also allows 4 servings. On the mornings where I’m home, I will usually make a protein shake in the mornings or at lunch.

Our next section is blue which includes healthy fats like nuts and avocado. (I don’t like avocado, because the texture is gross, but to each their own, I prefer almonds, or peanuts myself. Our last container is orange. Seeds and dressings. this is where you can either put pumpkin seeds or vinegarette on your salads, One of my absolute favorite salads is, of course, Caesar, but my next two favorites are the southwest salad with grilled chicken, (optional) and a strawberry spinach salad with blueberries, pecans, fetta cheese, and poppyseed dressing!
