After recoding the main routing backbone of the Stereo Omni Channel Strip, the upgrade with dual mono configuration is currently undergoing testing.
The upgrade is more than just splitting the channel strip into 2 independent chains, I've also added external side chaining, configurable channel gang controls, phase invert switches as well as solo and mute capabilities, on top of the ability to configure the chain as either stereo or dual mono. I've also reworked a lot of the UI controls behind the scenes to improve efficiency and make it easier to expand the channel strip. It's important to get all of this right before I attempt the 8 channel version, to avoid rework in what will be an even more complicated VSIG panel.
I'm hoping testing tonight goes more smoothly than over the last week, where I discovered some logic errors that broke things, requiring quite a bit of recalculation and recoding. Assuming I've fixed all the logic issues, I'm aiming to have this algorithm released this week.
