Greater Manchester Blood Bikes is the only blood bikes charity operating in Greater Manchester that transports Blood, Plasma, Platelets, Samples, Vaccines, Donor Breast Milk (DBM) and any other urgently required medical items to hospitals and healthcare sites- at night, daytime, weekends and bank holidays.
This service is provided completely free of charge by our amazing volunteers who all offer their time for no pay or reward, allowing the local NHS teams to divert funds where they are needed most within the communities we serve.
We receive no formal funding and only exist through public donations and other fundraising activity, so if you wish to and are able to buy us a fuel top up we would be extremely grateful for your support.
£3.00 could cover our fuel costs for one delivery of urgent blood to a local hospital. You will fund that life saving delivery for us.
