If I had to hazard a guess, it is likely a test of a new type of more advanced Houthi missile. It's also possible that they may form some fort of more formal alliance with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which they have claimed to have cooperated with frequently for alleged attacks in recent weeks. But this is pure speculation; fact is, whatever the announcement will be, there are public indications as to what it may be about.
Netanyahu is set to visit Biden in the coming weeks. However, both are facing a domestic political crisis at the moment, so it's not unfathomable that the meeting may ultimately be cancelled. The unpopularity of Biden's policy towards the war has taken a backseat after a disastrous debate performance, and the meeting (presuming it goes through) will help to bring the conflict back to the forefront of the American politicsl consciousness, which may be an actual comparative advantage for Biden. The United States is continuing to push for calm between Israel and Hezbollah. France weighed in today, and called for Israel to take not only a diplomatic path with Hezbollah to prevent a "conflagration", but to also reach a diplomatic resolution with Hamas in the near future.
