The United Kingdom launched rare strikes against the Houthis, joining with the United States. Today's strikes were much more extensive than normal, striking around a dozen sites throughout Houthi-controlled Yemen. There was an incident involving another ship south of Yemen; a presumed attack by the Houthis. This is yet another attack to take place in the Gulf of Aden, a further sign that the Houthis have fully rebounded since a cyber attack from the United States crippled the Behshad, the Iranian ship helping to guide these attacks.
Israel conducted an air strike in Zeitoun, in northern Gaza showing an increased presence of Hamas in the area. Beyond that, Israel is slowly pushing through western Khan Younis, and is growing closer to the tiny "humanitarian zone" in southwestern Gaza. An alleged American proposal to put into place a ceasefire has hit circulation. Like the first ceasefire, it would be phased; 35-40 Israeli hostages would be released, and several hundred jailed Palestinians would be released. For each hostage released, Israel is to agree to a day of a ceasefire, meaning that the first phase would be at least five weeks. Meanwhile, humanitarian aid for Gaza would surge, and an unspecified but small number of Palestinians would be allowed to return home to northern Gaza.
