According to marketing experts, 60% of consumers are influenced by social media or blogs before purchasing. One of the reasons for this is that influencer marketing is perceived as more authentic by the consumers as it involves a third-party promoting the brand.

From my experience, influencer marketing is an effective method to generate leads in the crypto sphere. Influencers add a level of trust and relevance to disruptive technologies like cryptocurrency.

How does one find suitable Crypto & NFT influencers? In this article, we’ll discuss some of the factors you need to consider when choosing appropriate Crypto & NFT influencers.

What are the factors you need to consider when choosing appropriate Crypto & NFT influencers?

1. Consider their authenticity and relevance.

The higher Influencer's reputation, the higher the quality of its community of users. Reaching out to the influencer of the NFT & Crypto sphere, which is suitable to your niche, would be much appreciated. Captivating this, there is a high probability that your NFT project will grab the target audience's attention. For example, if your project is based on Moonbeam/Moonriver chain, you can find the Polkadot/Moonbeam-related communities & influencers which has the most targeted user base.

2. Check influencer statistics.

Remember to focus on engagement stats when selecting influencers over follower numbers. Be careful of the scammers who use bots to increase followers and retweets on their socials. Here is an example:

3. Identify goals for your campaign.

It’s crucial that you need to set specific, SMART goals for every influencer campaign. You need a stated reason for every campaign, which you can break down into actionable, measurable goals to amplify the effect of the movements fully.

Understanding your goals can also impact your choice of an influencer in more indirect ways. For example, if a goal is to gain a certain number of new followers/customers over the length of the campaign, it would make sense that you choose to do AMA(Ask Me Anything) sessions with influencers you have never worked with before. This would make it more likely that your project would be learned by people who previously haven’t known anything about it. Therefore, they join your community more because they are interested in your project instead of chasing petty profits. Airdrops & Bounty Campaigns are not recommended at the early stage as they will more likely cause a series of adverse effects in your community.

According to the latest crypto research, the influencers who tweet about coins most often have 50k to 100k followers and an engagement rate above 500%. Here is an example:

Thus, If you want to contract Twitter influencers to promote your crypto price, you should focus on this type of accounts.
