I grew up in Kobe, Japan — a city forever changed by the devastating 1995 Great Hanshin Earthquake. That experience is what drives everything I build here.

Globe Labo is a real-time earthquake visualization project that monitors seismic activity worldwide and automatically shares alerts in the language of the affected region — currently supporting Japanese, English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, and Arabic.

My dream is simple: that technology will one day give us the power to predict earthquakes and tsunamis before they strike — saving lives the way no warning system could in 1995.
