Sometimes I place things under my pillow to help me dream of solutions, find clarity, etc. Can you relate?
Last night I slept with the clear crystal quarts. The message was to tinker more with the writing piece for the Dragon Dreams Oracle (DDO). I will. Thank you.
The DDO text is way too mega lengthy. The Dragon Dreams book series is in truth the DDO! And...if you didn't know...I reclaimed my two drawers full of dream journals placing them in a suitcase, so those will transform into more books and more decks!
I've struggled with shortening the DDO. As I reread it... I find myself in a state of stagnation. Why I now realize, is because my heart was screaming out that this is too short...too many points not well rounded and too many points glossed right over and why....so it can cram neatly into a booklet and ultimately skip out on the quality, all the heart and soul that went into them-no way! Why am I hooked on my oracle deck looking and sounding like others? Probably because that's what's familiar bahahaha...well not anymore dragons! The DDO will look like it looks and that's it lol...
Last night, it was reinforced to me that shamanic practices and ways of knowing, you could never ever put these into a box, package it up and sell it. The one who purchases the product is purchasing a tool to compliment their alchemy.
Spirit has now guided me to wrap up the DDO pronto...and to do it my way.
YOU are your BEST tool!
I thought Rosie might like to choose a tool to sleep with, yet she opted out lol... because those tools are simply an extension of what's inside of us, we don't need them, we need the belief in ourselves, and like any tool, including the DDO, they're to be used with reverence and to compliment our imaginative play and connections with our deeper selves.
A point to always be reinforced, is what if you lost or misplaced your tool? What if it broke or someone stole it?
Again, YOU are your BEST tool!
