Dear tribe,
Can we take a moment to exhale together? The holidays were doing the most, and now we’re here—a new year, a fresh start, and a whole lot of grace.
I’ve been thinking about how I want to step into 2025, and one word keeps tugging at my heart: surrender.
Let me tell you why that word feels so right. Last year, I learned (sometimes the hard way) that no amount of planning, striving, or "doing the most" can outpace God’s plan. And honestly? That was a tough pill to swallow for someone like me who’s got a controlling nature. But surrender isn’t about giving up; it’s about letting go and trusting that God’s got it all figured out—even the stuff that doesn’t make sense yet.
I don’t usually talk numbers, but last year, through Buy Me a Coffee alone, I made $215 just for being me. That’s wild to me—not because of the amount, but because it’s proof that when you show up as your authentic self, God makes room for you to be seen, supported, and celebrated. That’s the energy I’m bringing into this year: showing up, easing in, and letting God blow my mind.
But here’s the thing—easing in doesn’t mean standing still. It means moving with intention, choosing peace over panic, and letting renewal find you in the quiet spaces. For me, that looks like journaling more, praying more, and being okay with not having all the answers. It’s about trusting the pruning, knowing it’s making room for something beautiful to grow.
So here’s my question for you: What’s one thing you’re trusting God with this year? Is it your career, your relationships, your health, or maybe just finding a moment to breathe? Wherever you are, I hope you’ll take a moment to reflect and write it down. Let’s start this year anchored in peace and renewal, ready to see what God has in store.
If you feel led to share, hit reply. I’d love to hear how you’re easing into 2025 and what surrender looks like for you.
With grace and love,
Gianina
P.S. Remember, this year doesn’t need you to do the most. It just needs you to show up as your beautiful, authentic self. Let’s walk this out together.
