♾️ AUGUST 2026: When Spiritual Growth Me ...

♾️ AUGUST 2026: When Spiritual Growth Meets Real Life- Quick Guide

Aug 07, 2026

A summer of transition, full-circle moments, and learning how to bring the spiritual into the real world.

By Miledys Pons

Well, look who finally made it back to the blog!

Listen, before we get into astrology, numerology, energy, portals, and all the astro business we love to explore together, let me just say this: baby, I have been busy. This summer has been one of those seasons where life doesn't bother to send you a memo, give you a little warning, or even pretend to ask if you're ready. It simply changes the schedule, moves the furniture around, hands you a new assignment, and says, “Okay, figure it out.”

And that is pretty much how this summer has felt for me.

After nine years of working from home, I am officially back outside and back in the community full-time. Yes, chile, I said it: OUTSIDE. 😂 After almost a decade of working from home, I have returned to the world of actual schedules, getting dressed and leaving the house, interacting with people on a regular basis, and having somewhere to be besides my own living room. There was a time when my commute consisted of walking from one room to another, and honestly, I had gotten very comfortable with that arrangement.

But life had other plans.

I am now back in the community doing what I love, which, of course, includes fitness, but also teaching children through elective programs. Being back in this environment has been both refreshing and noble because it has reminded me that the things we learn in solitude eventually have to be practiced in community. It is one thing to talk about boundaries, emotional regulation, presence, energy, and self-awareness when you are sitting peacefully in your own space. It is another thing entirely when you are dealing with schedules, personalities, responsibilities, children, coworkers, traffic, and somebody who has somehow managed to get on your last good nerve before 10 a.m. 😂

That is where the real work begins.

After nine years of working from home, I have had to reacquaint myself with being around people on a consistent basis, and I have also had to learn how to balance protecting my energy with actually participating in life. There is a difference between solitude and isolation, just as there is a difference between protecting your peace and avoiding the experiences that challenge you. Sometimes we can become so focused on creating a peaceful environment that we forget we are supposed to eventually take that peace with us into the world.

And baby, the world is going to test it.

Anybody can feel centered when everything is quiet and going according to plan. The real question is whether you can remain connected to yourself when the schedule changes, when someone irritates you, when you're tired, when your responsibilities pile up, or when life simply refuses to cooperate with your vision board.

That has been one of the biggest lessons of this summer for me: learning how to live the spiritual work and apply it to the mundane world.

🌌 GALACTIC EXCHANGE IS BACK

As I continue settling into this new rhythm, I am also working hard to create a consistent schedule. I'm excited to share that Galactic Hoodbuddha is returning with a special collaboration with Ivelesse, the owner of Energy Exchange, for a new series called Infinite Balance: Portal & Presence (save your seat for 8/8 here)

Beginning on 8/8 at 8 AM, we will gather for a series of 60-minute experiences on 8/8, 9/9, 10/10, 11/11, and 12/12, using each date as an opportunity to explore the energetic themes of the moment through astrology, meditation, energy healing, journaling, and community.

The intention is simple: to create space for us to slow down, become more aware, and consciously work with the energy available to us rather than simply allowing life to drag us from one thing to the next.

🌻 AUGUST FEELS LIKE A FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT

There is another reason August feels particularly meaningful to me this year. August 2017 marked the beginning of a very important chapter in my journey, and so much of what I have learned, experienced, explored, questioned, healed, and eventually taught has grown from that period of my life.

Now, nine years later, we find ourselves in August 2026, moving through a 1 numerology year, which carries the energy of beginnings, independence, identity, leadership, initiation, and the planting of seeds for an entirely new cycle.

But what feels different this time is that I am not starting from scratch.

I have receipts. 😂

I have nine years of experience, lessons, mistakes, breakthroughs, spiritual downloads, uncomfortable conversations, moments of deep clarity, and enough personal growth to know that I don't need to reinvent myself every time life changes direction. I simply need to recognize what I have already learned and figure out how to apply it to where I am now.

That, for me, is the deeper meaning of this particular new beginning.

I am learning how to utilize all of the tools we have been cultivating over the years and bring them into the most ordinary parts of life. It is easy to talk about astrology, meditation, energy healing, manifestation, intuition, consciousness, and spiritual awareness when we are intentionally creating sacred space for those things. The real challenge is remembering those tools when you are standing in the middle of everyday life trying to figure out what comes next.

Spirituality is beautiful, but somebody still has to answer the email.

Somebody still has to go to work.

Somebody still has to pay the bills.

Somebody still has to have difficult conversations.

Somebody still has to take care of their body.

Sometimes, somebody still has to deal with a person who is doing entirely too much before breakfast. 😂 This is where I believe the spiritual and mundane worlds meet. We aren't here to escape being human. We are here to become more conscious within the human experience.

I am learning how to take what I know into my work, my relationships, my schedule, my body, my community, and my everyday decisions. I am learning that awareness is not something reserved for meditation or spiritual practice; it is something we can carry into the grocery store, the classroom, the gym, the workplace, the conversation, and even the moments when we are tempted to react before we have had a chance to breathe.

That is the kind of growth that interests me now.

Not simply knowing more, but living differently because of what I know.

🌍 LEARNING HOW TO BE HUMAN WITH ALL THESE SPIRITUAL TOOLS

One of the things nobody really tells you about spiritual growth is that eventually, you have to take all that beautiful information off the shelf and actually use it.

You can study your birth chart for years, understand your transits, learn about your nervous system, meditate every morning, journal until the pages are full, and know every spiritual term in the book, but eventually life is going to put you in a situation where you have to decide whether you are actually going to apply what you have learned.

  • Can you pause before reacting?

  • Can you recognize when your body is telling you that you have reached your limit?

  • Can you distinguish intuition from fear?

  • Can you maintain a boundary without needing to explain yourself seventeen times?

  • Can you remain present when everything around you feels chaotic?

  • Can you honor your need for rest without feeling guilty?

  • Can you take action when the universe has opened a door instead of sitting there waiting for another sign, another confirmation, and another cosmic memo?

These are the questions I am asking myself right now.

This season has been teaching me that spiritual maturity isn't necessarily about becoming more detached from the world. Sometimes it is about becoming more present inside of it.

And honestly, that feels like a much harder assignment.

It also feels like the next level.

THIS NEXT CHAPTER FEELS DIFFERENT

As I look at where I am now compared to where I was when this journey began in August 2017, I can see just how much has changed. I am not the same person who walked through that first doorway, and I don't think I'm supposed to be.

This new chapter isn't asking me to become some perfectly enlightened version of myself who floats around barefoot, never gets annoyed, and responds to every inconvenience with a peaceful smile.

Please.

😂

I am still a New York woman. I still have my opinions. I still have moments where I need to step away and say, “Lord, give me strength before I say what I'm really thinking.” The difference is that now I have more awareness of what is happening inside of me before I respond to what is happening around me.

And THAT is growth.

Growth isn't necessarily becoming someone who never gets angry, overwhelmed, frustrated, tired, or confused. Sometimes growth is simply becoming someone who recognizes those feelings sooner and knows what to do with them.

I am learning how to move through this next chapter with more intention, more flexibility, and a deeper trust in what I have already cultivated.

I am working, teaching, moving my body, and reconnecting with my community while rebuilding a schedule that makes room for writing, YouTube, and creating again. There is still plenty I am figuring out along the way, but I am learning to trust the process and allow this new chapter to unfold one step at a time. And honestly, I’m okay with that.

Because I no longer believe I need the entire staircase before I take the next step. Sometimes the universe gives you the whole map, but sometimes it gives you one little turn and says, “Go ahead, sis. You'll see the rest when you get there.”

Here’s a shorter, fully developed version that keeps the Auntie/New York energy without all the one-line breaks:

Maybe that is exactly what this 1 year is asking of us: to begin, to move, to trust ourselves enough to take the first step, and to stop waiting for everything to be perfect before we fully participate in our own lives. August 2017 opened one doorway for me, and August 2026 feels like another. The difference is that this time, I am walking through with nine years of lessons, wisdom, experience, intuition, community, and a whole spiritual toolbox on my back.

😂 So yes, baby, WE BACK OUTSIDE! And this time, I’m not just bringing the astrology with me; I’m bringing the lessons into my work, the awareness into my everyday life, the healing into my community, and the spirituality into the mundane. I’m learning how to continuing to live what I know, and that feels like the real beginning.

Perhaps that is the real portal we are all walking through right now. Not simply a date on a calendar, but an invitation to become more conscious of how we are showing up for the life we are actually living. Because the goal was never to escape this world. The goal was to learn how to move through it awake.

So here's to August, new beginnings, full-circle moments, getting back into rhythm, getting back into community, and learning how to use every tool we've been given. And if you see me outside after nine years of working from home, mind your business. 😂😂😂

I'm adjusting, healing, working, teaching, creating and I'm very much figuring it out as I go.But baby…I'm outside.
