It's been a rather busy time!
I had my 2nd Pop Up event with 13 people attending. Since leaving the area I've had a few messages and emails asking if I'll be hosting another event up there so I will be looking to host another when I'm next due there for another pet sit for the same family in July. I'll go for a longer day single day this time.
In contrast, tomorrow I have my first event in North Norfolk in Swaffham. And at the time of writing this (9pm Fri 28th) 2 tickets have been sold. Its 6 people in total. 2 out of 17 possible tickets have sold. I'm unsure why the interest is so different between the two areas. I'd never have guessed the people of the North have more disposable income to invest in something different than the folks in North Norfolk. But I guess I'm going to get this as I travel around. The upside is that I didn't pay for the venue so I'm still in profit. Its just disappointing as my marketing efforts were exactly the same as those that got a much better reception in the North.

I'm then heading up North for a pet sit so looking to potentially host one up there. Its near Southport though and I'm aware there has been a lot of issues around the area so I'm giving it some thought.
After the pet sit, I'm going to make my way down South to spend some time in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire areas to explore and spend some time with my family. I'm considering stopping for a week just outside of Birmingham as there are a LOT of items on my to see/photograph list in the area. So if I do that then I'd look to arrange a pop up outside of Birmingham also.
The Aim for my week is as follows
Saturday - Pop UP
Sunday - Editing
Monday - Editing/marketing
Tuesday - Fri - Contributing towards the photography project during the day, marketing efforts in the evenings.
So that's the current known plan. Each week I will add at least 1 new confirmed pop up which will be along my route.
Storage
Today I managed to secure a storage unit in a storage facility in Thetford and left my first lot of stuff. Its actually bigger than I had envisaged so may allow for me to hold onto a few things I was going to very reluctantly sell to keep storage costs as low as possible. I've paid £310 for the year including insurance.
Motorbike
My motorbike is in dire need of a complete strip down, clean and needs a new exhaust and clutch installed. I need to get this done asap as once I leave the East Anglia region to head North and then down to Hampshire etc, I'll have my bike with me and be using it primarily for exploring as parking can be very tricky in the van. So that is going to be occurring over the next few weeks whilst I'm hanging around the Suffolk / Norfolk area for doctors appointments etc.
I've never stripped a bike down, but every day is a learning day. I'll start stripping it down on Sunday as I need to use it tomorrow to get myself and the kit to the pop up event.
So that's it for now.
