This is going to be BONKERS let's explore my top ten grail pens, or the 10 I want the most! Does some of these shock you? The hardest thing will be to narrow them down to only ten lol, these won't be the most expensive fountain pens out there, they will just be pens that appeal to me personally.

1) PILOT - FOUNTAIN PEN - CAPLESS - MATTE BLUE (BLACK TRIM) - this is a classy pen with a disappearing nib that disappears back in to the body of the actual pen and this is really classy that I like the look of to be honest with you. Using a IC-50 cartridge or a converter makes this pen ultra easy to get your favorite ink to.
2) Lamy Al-Star Copper Orange - this is a hard to find retired color of the lamy al-star. Secondary market will be your best friend for this one to be honest with you.
3) KAWECO - FOUNTAIN PEN - AL SPORT - STONEWASHED BLUE - Always been a big massive fan of the Kaweco Al-Sport and this stonewashed blue brings in the retro vibes however would need to arrange a nib swap as a BB doesn't sit well with me lol, EF/F or M is right at home for me!
4) TWSBI Eco T Fountain Pen - Limited Edition Mint Blue, Extra Fine Nib - Will definitely be one of the cheapest pens on the list, I was always a big fan of the TWSBI pens and miss having them in my arsenal of pens. TWSBI and Kaweco were two of the first companies were I stepped away from only writing exclusively with Lamy.
5) PILOT - FOUNTAIN PEN - CAPLESS - RED (SPLASH) - Too good not to make here a second time and that's the pilot, capless in the Red splash pattern it's got every thing we love about the matte blue one but this is a bit more fun and semi playful.
6) PELIKAN - CLASSIC M205 FOUNTAIN PEN - MARBLE BLUE - Recently picked up a M200 though I haven't ironed out the kinks with the pen, I have come to love the profile of the M200/205 series and the Marble Blue personally looks FRESH! (BROUGHT)
7) Pilot Custom Heritage 92 Gift Set - Blue (Silver Accents) + Black Leather Sleeve - Hertiage by Pilot is that timeless iconic design that Pilot has traded on through out the years, and the 92 model is no different, with the transparent semi demonstrator body and the included leather sleeve, this is a piston filled pen which means bottled ink only, and it's a 14K nib, available across the normal nib sizes.
8) Esterbrook JR Paradise Orange Sunset Fountain Pen - I don't personally own any Esterbrook pens and the orange sunset looks stunning and it's definitely one that's peaked my interest.
9) TWSBI Diamond 580ALR Fountain Pen - Sunset Yellow - we know being TWSBI it's going to drop the heat and the Sunset Yellow definitely brought the heat to the party, we know a bottled ink pen only your chocies of ink are pretty well limitless and that's something I can all be for.
10) Conklin All American Fountain Pen - Sunburst Orange - F - Honestly this pen looks amazing and that's not a bad thing for a fountain pen we base a lot of what we do on looks when it comes to pens, pens are statement they are fashion piece. (BROUGHT)
I was brought up being told there three things you can the class of a man by the pen they use, the watch they wear and the shake of the hand, firm but not to firm with eye contact when culturally approved. I think of pens as a fashion statement but they are very much still a flair to your creative and personal styles like at the end of the day it's all about content and getting stuff done with the pens you own!
A pen can be a fashion statement but it's only a statement if it's used.
