beauty of life

Jan 13, 2023

The sky was a hazy blue, the clouds fluffy and white. They seemed to stretch on forever, as if they were the only things that existed in the world. I stared up at them, feeling small and insignificant. Took a sip of my beer and lit a cigarette, feeling the smoke fill my lungs.

I watched as the clouds slowly drifted by, their shapes changing with the wind. Some were dark and ominous, while others were light and fluffy. I felt like I could get lost in them, like they were a portal to another world.

I thought about the people I left in the city, going about their lives, not noticing the beauty above them. They were too busy working, worrying, and chasing after money. They didn't have time to stop and appreciate the simple things in life.

I took another sip of my beer and closed my eyes, letting the sun warm my face. I felt at peace, like nothing else mattered in that moment.

As I sat there, I realized that the clouds and the sky were a reminder that life is fleeting and that we should cherish every moment we have. I felt grateful for the simple things in life, like the clouds and the sky, that bring us peace and joy.

I finished my beer, flicked a cigarette, and walked away, feeling content and at ease. I knew that I would always have the clouds and the sky to remind me to slow down and appreciate the beauty of life.
