Light trickles in, but only to a limited extent. Deep down here darkness predominates. Or at least that is how it looks from above, where the air is plenty and water is hard to see through. We, deep down here, are dealing with the opposite. Things are different down here, but they are also the same. Humans are afraid of these depths. They are afraid of the unknown. They are afraid of Pokémon such as us. Those that sneak into their nightmares. Those that have more than 4 limbs, if you consider what we have limbs. Those that are only out to draw one of them into the darkness with us, where we make their fears reality, living nightmares that cannot be attributed to the imagination of their sleeping brains.
I have to admit that touching our limbs can have unwanted side effect for certain species. But we only harm when we feel threatened. Sometimes we just want to embrace you humans hehehe. In most cases that is a lie, but maybe those of us that belong to a trainer might feel the need to express their feelings that way. I do not judge. We have come too far and still have so far to go to do that.
