Good day everyone!
How are you doing in your clime and hope the weather is fine out there. In my clime, there’s been lots of rains with more to come in days.
What’s your weather forecast for the next 2 weeks?
Do you know we sometimes underestimate others from possibly our personal assessment of them or their abilities. And sometimes, we do this naturally without any basis.
He cannot speak well. He cannot write well. He cannot do well in that role etc. are some unfounded assumptions we make sometimes without any basis. We just did. But why?
The answer is simply in our perspective of things! It’s our internal problems that we need to fix. It is the leadership challenge that we all have. It is a pointer to the fact that we may need to change the way we see things.
I have got no doubt in my mind! Everyone carries something important and that is the reason they are part of the over 6 billion+ in the world today.
So how do we get the best and see the best in others? Consider below ways:

Recognize Individual Strengths and Contributions
Active Listening: Truly listen to understand what people are passionate about and where their strengths lie.
Appreciation and Acknowledgement: Regularly acknowledge and appreciate the unique contributions and efforts of individuals.
Create Supportive Environments
Encouragement: Offer words of encouragement and support to boost confidence and motivation.
Safe Spaces: Create environments where people feel safe to express themselves and share their ideas without judgement.
Foster Growth and Development
Opportunities for Learning: Provide opportunities for personal and professional development, such as workshops, training and mentorship.
Constructive Feedback: Offer constructive feedback that helps individuals grow and improve without discouraging them.

Promote Inclusivity and Diversity
Valuing Diversity: Celebrate diverse backgrounds and perspectives, recognizing that everyone brings something unique to the table.
Inclusive Practices: Implement inclusive practices that ensure everyone has a voice and can contribute meaningfully.
Encourage Collaboration and Teamwork
Collaborative Projects: Encourage collaborative projects that allow individuals to work together and learn from each other.
Shared Goals: Set shared goals that align individual strengths towards a common purpose
Lead by Example
Empathy and Compassion: Demonstrate empathy and compassion in your interactions, showing others how to treat people with kindness and respect
Integrity and Authenticity: Lead with integrity and authenticity, inspiring others to do same.

Role Models and Mentors: Share stories of individuals who have made significant contributions, highlighting their journeys and the impact they’ve had.
Celebrating Achievement: Celebrate and publicize the achievements of others showing how their contributions matter to the world.

Self-Discovery: Encourage people to explore and understand their own values, strengths, and passions.
Mindfulness Practices: Promote mindfulness practices that help individuals stay present and focused on their inner strengths.
By doing these, we can uncover more from others and ourselves!
