We can’t all be onion writers. It’s okay to be a potato writer

Why writing is like an onion?

Peel away the thin layers of the onion skin, each layer is a layer of the story.

Sometimes you have a bad onion with a mold spot and you gotta cut out that part of the story.

Sometimes the whole onion is bad.

Sometimes you gotta dice up the whole onion and fry it up, might be tastier that way.

Some people just don’t like onions and maybe your book is a radish or potato instead.

A good recipe for a sweet potato book is to put it in the oven on 350 degrees for 1 hour and with maple brown sugar and butter.

We can’t all be onion writers. It’s okay to be a potato writer.
