Is Bitcoin Stalling or Just Catching Its Breath? Here's What Comes Next...
OK, so after what feels like an endless stream of “breakout” proclamations by the usual moon boys on social media, Bitcoin has once again hit pause—trading sideways, dipping slightly, then drifting sideways again. But no worries—this isn’t unexpected. August 2025 is still the key timeframe I’ve been watching for Bitcoin’s real breakout to the upside. And when that happens, expect some of our favorite altcoins to follow with serious momentum.
Right now, I’m watching closely for the next big dip in July—a prime accumulation window that I believe runs through August 10. After that, we could see substantial gains in a relatively short time. But crypto isn't the only game in town. I’m also eyeing a few standout stock plays—and potential pitfalls—in the traditional markets:
🔧 1. Semiconductors (iShares SOXX ETF)
This sector may stay range-bound through the rest of July, but I’m expecting steady gains from August into September, with another leg up likely in early 2026 through mid-year. It’s not a moonshot, but a strong candidate for consistent upside (and, short-term options trading).
🚨 2. Tesla (TSLA)
Tesla took a hit today after Elon Musk made headlines with his not-so-subtle political declaration against Trump and the GOP. Don’t count on a sharp rebound here. In fact, I’m preparing to short Tesla in September, right as it lures traders into thinking it’s recovering. This stock could continue to bleed out into early 2026. I’m eyeing short-term puts to ride this downtrend. Long-term? I’ll reassess in 2026, when a turnaround—potentially triggered by a restructuring or new leadership (read: not Elon)—may be on the table.
💡 3. Bitmine Immersion (BMNR)
If you’re looking for a more traditional stock play that still tracks closely with crypto, BMNR, currently hovering around $106/share, has caught my attention. I expect it to perform slightly better than Bitcoin (percentage-wise) in August and September, riding the same wave with amplified gains.
These are just a few ideas at the top of my list, but trust me—there’s a lot more opportunity ahead as the markets keep rolling… at least for a few more months. Stay sharp, stay strategic, and as always, timing is everything.
