Chapter 1):
(I own nothing but my OC and own Ideas.)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A motorcycle rode through the night, no one else seemed to be around and all the cops that it passed ignored it since there was no one out. Usually they would be quick to stop it seeing as it was going well beyond the speed limit, but in a small town like this they allowed it to happen.
Ryan the owner and driver of the motorcycle sped along with music blasting in his ears, he smiled as the wind whipped across his helmet as he increased the speed. Someone people would fear that he needed to slow down as he was going 120mph (193Kmh), especially with the turn that was coming up.
Two cops watching him smiled as they took bets, "Thirty bucks says he doesn't make it this time. He is going faster then last time, there is no way he is prepared to go this fast."
"Pete please! This kid hasn't missed it once since he has started this, I will take that bet, looks like breakfast will be on me in the morning." The other officer said with a smile as they watched Ryan get closer and closer to the intersection.
Ryan confident as ever didn't slow down at all, he turned his body lightly getting close enough to the pavement that his knee just hardly hovered above it. The turn was beautiful as Ryan rounded the corner and sped off again as if nothing happened, the money between the cops exchanged hands as he disappeared.
Not knowing any of this Ryan completed his ride stopping at the beach La Push, parking he took off his helmet as he walked down to the beach. Going to the part where a bonfire pit was set up he took out his lighter, within second the fire was started showing his face.
Ryan had well defined features but it was his red eyes that made him stand out, his blonde hair was short but fit his face nicely giving him a very nice appearance. Sighing he took a blunt from his pocket and lit it, taking a deep breath he took in a big inhale.
On the exhale he smiled while looking out at the ocean, seventeen years Ryan has been in this world, he has experienced life all over again. While most might not have liked that he enjoyed it, it also gave him the chance to improve himself a lot.
There was also the fact that when he was sent here he got something awesome, it was called 'The Sim System' it was exactly as it sounded. The system was something similar to the Sims 4, which happened to be something he was playing before he died.

Ryan was happy to have this system, sure he was still a regular human with it but at least he gained so many new skills from it all, his intelligence increased a lot from it. Taking another puff from his weed he watched the water crash against the rocks on the cliff nearby while thinking about the future.
Really he didn't know what to do with this new life, Twilight wasn't a place he expected himself to be until he actually figured out that he was in the world. He lived in Forks of course and the town Sheriff was Charlie Swan, who had a daughter named Bella, that let him know everything he needed.
That along with the Reservation where he met Billy Black and Jacob let him know his guess was solid, he just needed to meet the Cullen's now. Who weren't in town yet since he was before the movies.
Another thing was that he knew when the movies did start that in the shadows of this town things would go to crap fast. While it wasn't on the level of town ending it was scary, who wouldn't be afraid that vampires could kill them at any time just because.
"Can I get a hit of that?" A soft voice asked him from behind.
Looking back he smiled slightly seeing who it was, it was none other then Leach Clearwater, but unlike the movies she actually took on the appearance of Ana De Armas. He was just sad he didn't have a shot with her, at the moment she was still with Sam.
Ryan wasn't to clear with the timelines here, he was a fan of twilight but not a die hard fan where he knew when everything went down. Plus who says he wasn't reincarnated into a version where things were different, it could happen.
"Sure thing Leah, what are you doing out so late? Shouldn't you be at home now?" He asked as he passed her the weed.
She took a big hit before holding it in before she answered, "Couldn't sleep. Figured I would come here and just relax....Something is wrong with Sam lately and he hasn't been wanting to tell me what is going on."
Ryan froze for a moment before nodding, "Ahh so what do you think it is?"
Ryan felt he knew what this, it had to be the the Cullen's were coming, there was no other way that it could be anything else. With their arrival then it meant that things were going to kick off, which meant that the wolves were getting ready to change.
Sighing he looked at the girl next to him, if things played out like he knew them to be she would be left behind by Sam after imprinting on Emily. There was nothing that he could do about it though so he wasn't going to worry about it, Leah would talk to him if she wanted too.
"No and I am really starting to get worried. He talks to me still but just over the phone, instead he is off doing who knows what, I just wish he would talk to me. I miss him." She said sighing while handing him back the weed.
Ryan grew this himself which is why his gardening skill grew so well, he had over fifty strands and this was from the newest and was now one of the strongest he had. He knew she would be feeling it soon, cause he was and only after four puffs.
"Well there isn't much advice I can really give you. Other then saying wait until he comes back to you or that you get him cornered yourself.....though I wouldn't do that last one, not with the anger issues." Ryan said that last part under his breath low enough that it was carried by the wind.
She nodded her head while sighing, "Yeah you are right. I will try and get him to talk to me."
Ryan nodded, for the next thirty minutes they stood in silence as they smoked the rest of his weed, in the end they ended up laying down looking at the stars. Leah had stolen his jacket and put it under her before lying on it, Ryan rolled his eyes as he laid his head on her stomach watching the stars with her.
She was running her fingers through his hair as they listened to the waves crash against the shore. What neither knew was that a giant six foot wolf was standing at the tree line on the cliff looking at the two, although mad it stood in place.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Chapter 2):
As the sun peaked over the water Ryan woke up, looking to the side he saw Leah was cuddled against him with a soft smile on her face. Raising a brow he stared out at the water, sighing he knew he didn't need to go home just yet.
See Ryan and his parents weren't from Forks, no they were from New York where his parents were corporate Lawyers, they were on assignment in Seattle at the moment. Ryan only agreed to come once they bought a house in Forks and allowed him to go to the school here.
Mainly because he wanted to be in a small town, after learning what was really happening in this world he was regretful of it but stuck with it.
Because of this though his parents weren't around much, maybe they came in on weekends but since it was Monday morning they wouldn't be here at all. Ryan only needed to go home and change now before heading to school, which from the time that was on his watch he had about twenty minutes to be there for first period.
With him needing to shower and change he wouldn't make it there in time at all, but he shrugged not really caring at all, after all he hardly made it in time for that class as it is. Yawning he reached over and shook Leah awake, who was determined to sleep in from the way she swatted his hand away.
"Leave me alone mom, five more minutes." She said while pouting.
Ryan laughed, "Leah wake up! I need my jacket and need to get to school, also you probably need to get back before they send a hunting party looking for you."
That seemed to break through her sleep riddled mind as her eyes snapped open, looking around she realized they were still on the beach before sighing, "Shit! You're right, I need to get back before my first class. I will see you later.....and thinks for listening Ryan, you are a really good friend."
Ryan waved his hand away as he tried to get all the sand out of his jacket, "Yeah no problem, I was already down here and you are a good friend."
She smiled walking over she gave him a big hug before backing away, "No you really are a good friend Ryan," Sighing she looked towards where her house was, "Let's hope Sam is willing to talk today."
He nodded his head, "Well call if you need anything, I have more weed if you want to smoke and get rid of your problems for awhile."
She smiled brightly as she waved before walking away.
Shaking his head Ryan brought out his keys as he got on his bike a drove away, he didn't need to look out for Leah as he knew she was safe. If she wasn't then someone would have come and gotten her last night, from the little she spoke of last night he knew that Sam had shifted.
So Sam could smell if any nomads or anything were around, since they allowed Leah to be out so late that meant that nothing in the area was a danger to her.
Getting on his bike Ryan made his way back into town, he was driving at a normal pace now seeing as he would get pulled over for anything else. He waved to some of the officers he knew and they waved back, especially the two who bet on him the night before.
As the took a turn he came down a lone rode, it was the path leading to the house his parents bought, what turned out to be a coincidence is that the Cullen's owned the one next door. He didn't know that until he took a good look at it, the house being the same he saw in the movies, though a little more beautiful.
"I'm home." Ryan shouted as he walked in from the garage door that led into the kitchen, smiling as he heard pattering of dog paws coming to him.
Eventually a grey husky ran into the room and right up to him, "Hey girl, who is a good girl, you are, yes you are." He said kneeling down and tussling her fur with a smile.
This was Ryan's dog Meredith, it was the only companion he had at the house with him, he usually didn't need to let her out since there was a dog door. Although he was a little worried about her getting out and being attacked in the woods, but he didn't worry to much since she only did it while he was gone.
After refilling her bowl he made his way through the empty house, he didn't stop as he went right to his bedroom and took out clothes. As he did so he looked out his window, looking down he raised a brow seeing the house next door.
Where it use to be empty he saw that people were moving into it, from the looks of it, it was none other then the Cullen's they were apparently here. He knew that just from moving that they could hear him, but they seemed to coordinate the next part that happened.
Alice, well who he assumed was Alice, she was the smallest, turned around and smiled at him before waving. It would have been weird that she noticed him but at that moment she was turning with a box in her hand so it made it look natural.
He could see that a blonde asked her something before Rosalie was looking over too, that just caused a domino effect making them all wave at him. Without even responding he turned and walked away, he didn't want to be to close to them, mainly cause other then Leah and her brother Sam, he wasn't close to anyone.
After his shower Ryan took off downstairs heading to his green house, grabbing some buds off his plants he left. On his way out he put it all into his backpack before he went out to his motorcycle, as he pulled away he saw the Cullen's still moving.
Ignoring the jumping and happy Alice he took off, thankfully it was a long stretch of road so he could let himself speed as fast as he wanted.
----
It only took him another five minutes to get to school, by then they were already in second period and Ryan was really late. Though from the way he was walking slowly inside no one would really think that he was actually late.
He took the long route as he did enter the school, he was stopping by first period to see what homework he had before he headed to his current class. "Yo Mr. Crash. I wanted to see if there was any homework or anything that I needed to pick up."
Sighing he looked at Ryan as he collected some papers, "You know if you actually showed for my class then you would know these things already. Also there will be a test on Friday so be here for that please."
Ryan saluted as he took his trigonometry homework, the reason he wasn't given detention or told off is because he was second in his class. The thing keeping him from first was the simple fact that he had to many tardies on his record so he couldn't be placed first.
Some people laughed while the girls giggled while winking at him as he walked out of the room, he ignored them all, as he mentioned he didn't have friends here. While whistling he made his way to his next class which is history, which he was going to sleep through, even if there was only thirty minutes left.
As he entered the room the teacher didn't even stop talking as he walked over to his seat, people looked between the two of them but were use to the scene so didn't say anything. While taking his seat a note was thrown on his desk, raising a brow he picked it up also taking a look to she who threw it to him.
It was Jessica Stanley, resident popular girl and head cheerleader for the basketball team.
Opening the note he raised a brow as he read it, she was asking him to go to her party this weekend, throwing the note to the side he would consider it. Ryan sometimes went and sometimes didn't, it really just depended on who was throwing the party, cause most were a bust.
Seeing as it was her, and her family was semi rich it should be a good one, he would have to see if Leah and Seth wanted to join him. That is of course if Leah was in a good headspace at the time, well even if she wasn't then she should want to since he might want to let off steam.
It all depended on when Sam would imprint on Emily, if he hasn't already.
Taking his mind off that, he laid his head down and decided to sleep, that is what school was for him after all, with the help of the system and intelligence increase he already had a photographic memory. Being the smart person he was he learned everything he needed for these next two years so he didn't need to pay attention.
The teacher at the front of the class saw this but just sighed, there was nothing they could do when he did all the homework and passed every test all they could do was let him be. They were just glad that he actually came to class and didn't skip like most people would.

Chapter 3):
At Lunch Ryan stood outside smoking more weed while looking around, teachers weren't actually cool enough to let him do this on school grounds. That didn't stop him from doing it though when he got the chance, and his best chances were during lunch and before school.
"What's up man, can I get $30 worth?" A voice asked as five people walked over to him, one being Jessica Stanley who had sent him the message earlier. The person to talk though was Tyler, their starting point guard on the team, then there was Mike Newton who was glaring at him, their starting Small Forward.
Ryan didn't say anything but looked at them, he was the teams starting Shooting Guard and honestly he could have been friends with them, but there were to many internal fights in them. Didn't help that Mike hated him too, but that was because of all the interest that Jessica showed him, not that he responded to that.
Jessica had shown some signs of wanting to be attached to him, so he avoided sleeping with her or anything so she wouldn't get the wrong idea.
"Sure thing man." Ryan said while taking it out for him, Tyler had bought from him before and he never had any problems with him.
Tyler smiled along with Eric who was right behind him, the small Asian kid was also a big smoker but was to afraid to talk to Ryan and buy it himself. He was an okay kid but again, Ryan didn't see himself being friends with him, they tried it once and Ryan almost took his head off.
He was just to annoying for him.
After they bought they left Ryan alone and went inside, since he only had the last little left Ryan put it out while carrying his bag into the cafeteria. Ignoring the lines he went to his table, yes it was his since it was the only empty table inside the place, he claimed it on his first day in school.
Taking out his lunch he made the day before Ryan wasted no time digging into it, he would always make his own lunch since it helped his skill and it tasted great. He also brought a lot of snacks, when you are high that is just something that happens, which was why he was lucky he was in such good shape.
Most people were use to the view of him eating a lot, they also watched as he smoked outside so it wasn't a surprise when he took out a family sized bag of chips and ate them. Ryan only ever kept food, a pencil/pen or homework in his backpack, he never took anything else seeing as he was never actually needed anything else.
Something he didn't like about school was how lunch was so short, before he knew it the bell was ringing and he needed to leave, of course being himself he ignored it staying an extra five minutes. As the last of the chips were eaten he nodded in satisfaction and went on to his next class, he was happy that it was Basketball since all they would do is work out some drills in it.
Getting to the gym he saw that people were already coming out the locker room and warming up, Ryan was in no rush as he walked to change. The coach only shook his head, but he really believed that Ryan could go pro with the skills he had so he didn't stop him.
After changing Ryan walked out to see everyone going into drills, instead of joining he started to run suicides to warm up, after running for ten minutes he stopped. While most would be tired from it he was just fine, stretching his arms he watched the five on five on five, the three teams taking turns.
"Alright good job second team. Ryan take over for Smith so that we can get started, I want five passes before a shot boys, get going." Their coach called out as Ryan joined the first team to start the game.
Each team were mixed, that meant that no team was the starting line up, it just would be fair and the team needed better chemistry so this is how it was. Ryan at shooting guard waited down court as the ball was passed into the backup point guard, Ryan never actually took the time to learn his name.
As the ball was brought down the court they passed it before it landed in his hands, even if it was only three passes Ryan took the shot from way beyond the three. The ball sailed and went in with nothing but net, the coach went red in the face but he didn't say anything since the shot was made.
---------
"Ryan get over here." Coach called out as the class was over and they were leaving the gym, Ryan walked over while wondering what was going on, "Just giving you a heads up, there will be drug testing in two days. It is suppose to be a surprise but I am letting you know in advance."
Ryan nodded while making a mental note to go into Seattle tonight, this is usually what the coach did for him after the first failed drug test which kept him out of the game for a month. They all knew that he wouldn't stop smoking so he was usually told in advanced when a test was taking place.
He was just lucky that his coach knew a guy at the testing place so they could get the heads up, if it wasn't for that then Ryan would need to quit.
Nodding and thanking his coach he took off, it was time to go and 'enjoy' the rest of this great day, although it was only in his head he was really sarcastic with it.
--------
When the last bell of the day rang Ryan was the first out the front door, with how quick he got to his motorcycle you would think that he had been working all day. Which he knew wasn't true, he didn't get stopped by anyone or stop to see anyone as he made his way over to his motorcycle, they knew not to stop him.
Putting on his helmet he threw his leg over his bike before taking off, he was going for a run with Meredith when he got back since she was lazy most days. Along the way he stopped at the market since they got his order in, which was just some food that he couldn't buy in town.
Though it was overpriced he had the credit card his parents gave him, along with the little money he made from the task that were completed.
When he made it home he noticed that the Cullen's had completely moved in, most likely with him not watching they were able to move at quick speed to complete it. He didn't know when was the last time they were in town but they most likely switched furniture too, although theirs was in good shape they would put it away for later.
Making it more antique the longer they lived.
"Meredith, I'm home." He called out as he started to put away his dinner for the night along with all his food he would make for the school week.
It wasn't long before she was in the kitchen with her leash in her mouth, they had done their routine so much that she knew to have it ready when he got home. Smiling he put the last of his things before clipping it on her, she barked happily as she walked to the front door.
Though when they got to the front door she froze a moment before growling at the door, Ryan stopped too and it only took him a moment to learn what was happening outside the door. It was no doubt the Cullen's, Meredith being a dog could smell something off about them, no amount of perfume or cologne could hide the smell from a dog.
Sighing he opened to the door to see he was right, standing there was everyone minus Carlisle who he was sure was working at the hospital at the moment.
"Hi! We're your neighbors the Cullen's." Esme, or who he assumed was Esme said with a wide smile while holding a plate of what looked like cookies.
Ryan blinked and blinked as Meredith growled at his side, raising his hands he lit up his blunt before turning to close the door. He was not about to get involved or be friendly with this family, he didn't need someone coming to him because they couldn't leave humans alone.
The family watched him as he tied his running shoes on ignoring them, they all frowned some, except for Alice who bounced in excitement getting into his personal space as he stood up, "Hi! I'm Alice, it is nice to meet you. What's your name?"
Meredith gave one last growl as Ryan took off running with her at his side, he took a drag of his weed ignoring the family that was watching his back. Of course they were more then strong enough to stop him, but they didn't want to do something that could draw to much attention to themselves.
Ryan didn't have a problem with them, in fact he loved Rosalie, Alice, Esme, Jasper and Emmett but that didn't mean he was going to be a good neighbor. He wasn't State Farm after all.
As he ran his phone rang, seeing that it was Leah he answered it immediately, "Hey Leah, what's going on?"
The other side was silent a moment, then he heard a sniffle followed by the sounds of quiet sobbing. Pausing mid stride he sighed, he knew what this was but knew that she needed to see him in person rather then talking over the phone, she just had to much pride to admit it.
"I'll be there in twenty minutes." He said getting a quiet 'thank you' as the phone was hung up.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Chapter 4):
Ryan ran back to the house with a sad Meredith, he needed to make it up to her later when he fed her or take her down to La Push. Actually he decided to take the car today rather then his motorcycle, if Leah was so upset then they could talk at the beach.
"Come on girl, let's go to the beach." He said with a smile as he entered in from the garage rather then the front door.
Meredith's tail wagged in excitement over the fact that she was going to be going with him then staying home, she didn't make it to the beach much. Ryan grabbed the keys to his (technically his mothers) Audi Q7, Meredith went into the back as he opened it laying down like a good girl.
Ryan smiled as he took off out the garage, as he took off he saw that Alice was waving goodbye to him, he just shook his head but did it when she couldn't see him.
------
Ten minutes later he was pulling up in front of the Clearwater house, he didn't see Harry's truck but he did see Sue's car so at least she was there. Seth must have been looking out the window because he was the first to rush out the door, there was a smile on his face as Ryan got out the car with Meredith.
"Seth, how are you doing man." He said an actual smile growing on his face, half was from the fact that he was high the other because of his friend.
"Good, school sucked but you know it has been fine. When can we go surfing again? I really want to hit those waves again, and your boards are the best." Seth said with some excitement his eyes shinning as he played with Meredith.
Ryan laughed some, "Well we can go Sunday, how about that? For now though I need to go see your sister, she called me crying."
Seth's whole demeanor changed as he heard that, he was shaking with anger but he didn't shift since he hadn't gone through the change yet. "Yeah, that asshole Sam, he broke her heart! And of all the people he could have gotten with he got with our cousin Emily, they had to rush her to the hospital though, there was an accident."
Ryan sighed hearing that, he knew that it was most likely Sam not being able to control himself again which caused Emily to once again being hurt like in the books and movies.
"Okay, well I am going to go see her. Most likely I will be taking her to La Push to talk, do you want to join and take Meredith to the beach for me?" He asked as they walked towards the house, Meredith was hopping around them just happy to be somewhere away from the house.
"Yes!" Seth said with excitement, he loved hanging with Ryan since Ryan allowed him to do things that his mother or father tried to stop him from doing. Basically Ryan didn't treat him as a kid like everyone else.
"Alright man, make sure your homework and everything else is done, or you won't be joining us when we go." Ryan told him with a nod as they walked into the house.
Ryan followed behind Seth and Meredith was behind him, walking in he could smell some delicious food and humming from the kitchen. He smiled warmly at the thought of Sue Clearwater cooking, the woman invited him to eat with them any time that he was at their house so he tended to eat a lot of her cooking.
Though he was the better cook that didn't stop him from eating her cooking, it was a good home cooked meal after all.
"Hey Sue." He said pulling her into a hug as she put down a pot of food. Since he had been visiting for the past year she had insisted that he called her Sue rather then Mrs. Clearwater.
She turned to face him smiling, but he could tell she was a little down, "Hey there Ryan. Are you here for Leah," When he nodded she smiled some more, "Well good, that girl has been locked in her room since it all happened, maybe you can get her out of that funk."
"That is the plan." He said with a smile, they talked for another twenty minutes before she let him go back to Leah.
He walked to her door and unlike most girls it was just a plain door, there was nothing to show off that it was a girls room or anything. Ryan knew she was a bit of a tomboy but he also knew she had her sensitive side, it was a reason he thought she turned into a wolf.
Knocking he waited but heard nothing but the music that played beyond the door, "Hey Leah its me." He said calling out to her loud enough she would hear over the music, Meredith was with Seth so it was just him.
There was the sound of footsteps coming then her door was opened, no longer did she look like the confident girl he knew, but now depressed and sad with puffy eyes. She didn't waste a moment throwing herself into his arms, at five foot five she was small in his arms, he was looking forward to seeing how tall she would be.
Ryan could feel his shirt getting wet as she sobbed in his arms, her body rocked as she laid her head against his chest crying into it. Seeing as she was one off the few people in his life that he cared about he felt his heart breaking at her sobs, he sighed while holding her tight.
The door closed with a kick of his leg as he carried her to her bed, her room reflected her, instead of a girly room it was more like someone who loved classic rock. The giant poster of Freddy Mercury singing sitting right above her bed, the record player was actually playing 'Radio Ga Ga'.
Neither spoke as he held her, he was going to give her some time to calm a little in his presence before he actually talked to her. She seemed okay with it as she held him tighter, he didn't know what she was going through, but she was his best friend he wasn't going to let her go through it alone.
After another ten minutes she finally spoke, "He got with Emily! No warning or anything like that, I found them kissing. Rather then actually breaking up with me he, he cheated with her first letting me catch them."
Ryan sighed, there was nothing he could say to that.
"What's worse is that he lied before hand. I called him all last week and all he could tell me was that he was sick, the next thing I know I find them kissing, then Emily runs off only to be attacked by a bear in the woods. I know I am an awful person for not going to visit her, b-but I can't see either of them." She said shaking her head which didn't leave his chest, "Do you think less of me?"
He reached down and made her look at him, those hazel eyes were shinning with tears, "There is no way in hell that I would ever think less of you. You are my best friend Leah. If anything I want to kick his ass for even thinking of cheating on you."
Not that he would, one because of the anger, and two because at the moment Sam was way bigger then him.
She laughed a little, "Please, Ryan I love you like a brother but Sam would crush you."
Ryan smiled hearing her laugh, "Wow, thanks a lot there. I thought you were suppose to be my best friend, looks like I need to find a new one." All she did was wrap her arms around him holding him close, at least she wasn't crying like she was before, "How about we get out of here, we can hang out at La Push and I can get you really high."
She laughed again and his chest swelled with pride, he was glad that no matter the situation that he could get her to laugh like that, she nodded though, "Yeah let's do it."
Ryan stood smiling down at her, "Why don't you wipe your face first and," he sniffed the air but it smelled fine, though he felt like messing with her, "And take a shower you really stink."
He ran out the room fast as she threw a pillow at him, he heard her yelling but he also smiled as he walked into the living room, Meredith was sitting at Sue's feet who was reading in a chair. "How is she?" she asked noticing him walk in.
He sighed while shaking his head, "She will be fine, but it will take time. I am going to take her down to La Push, we will be back later tonight. Is it okay if I also take Seth with us, I know he wanted to play with Meredith more."
Sue smiled, "Of course. Just don't get my daughter to high please, I would like her to actually not giggle every thirty seconds, or eat everything in the house." she said the last part with a smile.
He laughed at that, "Well I can always get them something to eat before bringing them back."
She shook he head with a smile, "Nonsense, we both know she isn't letting you leave tonight. Go ahead and come back here the food will be waiting for you all when you get back, I made Lobster Gumbo."
Ryan almost drooled but held it in, "Will do."
"Alright I'm ready." Leah said walking into the room with a small smile, she was looking better but they could tell that she was still sad about everything. Ryan sighed on the inside looking at her.
"Seth! Come on if your coming or you will be left behind." Ryan called out as they began to go to the front door Meredith following them.
Seth came barreling around the corner while adjusting his flannel he was putting on, with his signature smile he called out, "You two better not leave me."
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Chapter 5):
As they all got into the car Seth took his phone and decided to play his music, apparently what they played was to old school for him. Not that Ryan listened to really old music, he just played it a lot while he was with Leah since that was something more that she was into.
"Alright guys, now sit here and listen to the greatness that is Juice Wrld." Seth said as he leaned back while playing 'Relocate' it was actually one of Ryan's favorite.
Leah rolled her eyes but she smiled a little looking out the window, as they rode to the beach Ryan thought of anything to say but couldn't think of anything. Really he was just trying to be a good friend, so he was going to go with the approach of just being there and being someone that she needed until she started the conversation.
For the ride Seth rapped and sung along to all the songs that he played, it wasn't until they were parked that he gave Ryan his phone back before jumping out with Meredith right behind him. Ryan and Leah sat there for a moment in silence, at the moment the beach was full of teenagers and there was a bon fire going on, the same he used the night before.
Looking closely he could see Jacob, Embry and Quil all hanging out and laughing, Ryan at that moment couldn't see the shifters they were. Instead he saw just some teenagers who at the moment were cat calling at some of the girls who were sitting on the other side of the fire giggling.
Ryan started to roll up three blunts to smoke before he got out, Leah was right behind him as they opened up the back and took a seat. They watched the water like last night as they lit up, Seth found some friends and were hanging with them, one was even a girl who he seemed to be wanting to impress.
Laughing Ryan took a drag while shaking his head at the things he was doing. Leah didn't seem to notice as she took five big drags and looked out at the water, she was in her head at the moment but at least she wasn't crying at the moment.
"You know, I thought we might get married. I know I am in the last year of high school, and I know there are all sorts of things that could have happened, but I didn't think it would be this. Emily was like a sister to me." She said while sighing.
Ryan didn't speak, he didn't think she was done yet.
"Mom use to joke about it, about me marrying him having some kids and moving into a house near theirs." She said softly.
There was nothing for him to say to that but he knew that she was waiting on something so he said something, "Well then it is a good thing you didn't marry him. Who is to say this wouldn't happen down the line, at least it is over now and you don't need to worry about it ever happening, it might be hard now, but things will change."
She nodded her head as they both sat in silence while taking long puffs, this plus what he had earlier had Ryan high but he didn't stop, he never really did.
"You're right, but I don't want you to be right. I am not going to be one of those girls who is going to sit there and complain about it either, I can hate them and be mad about it, but I don't have to be bitter about it." She said sitting up straighter, he was seeing his best friend being confident again.
Ryan smiled but he knew that she wasn't all the way there, she might be shoving it under that mask and trying to be brave, but she was still sad. He knew that the moment she was alone that she would draw into herself again, but he didn't plan on letting that happen, this was his best friend.
This was a different Leah Clearwater then the one who was in the movies and books, she wouldn't be bitter or care about the imprint that Sam did on Emily. No matter what happened in the future Ryan would always be there for her, he wouldn't let her go into that dark place like her other self.
Reaching over he pulled her into his arms, "You don't need to be strong with me Leah. Let yourself be free, even if you need to cry, my shoulder, chest or neck will be there for you to cry on."
A shudder ran through her as she leaned her head on his shoulder them both laughing a little at Seth who just tripped trying to show off.
-------
They spent their time at La Push until the sun went down, it wasn't until around nine that they left along with most of the teens hanging out there. Seth was actually able to get a girls number, though she was one of the kids who went to the high school and didn't live on the reservation so they could only meet up after school.
Leah teased him the entire way back to their house, though Ryan could see that she was still down about everything. He knew that she wouldn't be over it so fast, plus he was sure that she was already thinking of something to help her get over it.
Weed only did so much.
When they made it back Meredith dragged herself into the house, she went over to the spare bowl that had already been set up for her in the corner. As for Ryan and the rest they went straight to the kitchen, they could hear the sound of the TV though from the living room, most likely where Sue and Harry were.
Not wanting to disturb them they went ahead and heated themselves some food, Ryan laughed getting the biggest bowl he could find. Seth nodded following him while Leah rolled her eyes, she was high and hungry too but she didn't think they needed that much.
Ryan just gasped while glaring at her playfully seeing as she commented that out loud, which he found to be blasphemous. Shaking his head he walked to the table and dug in, as they were eating Sue and Harry walked into the kitchen.
"Hey guys did you have fun?" Sue asked with a wide smile, Harry stood there with a small smile but he was a silent man she kept talking when they nodded, mouths to full to speak, "Well there is some news that you all should know, it is about Emily."
Ryan noticed that it seemed harder for Leah to swallow at that moment but she didn't say anything.
"She is going to be fine, they were able to fix the scars on her face. Unfortunately the scars will be remaining on her face so she will be having to stay in the hospital longer while she heals." Sue went on to explain.
Ryan was watching Leah the entire time, he didn't really care much but if she wanted him to be there for her, then he would be. Everyone seemed to be watching her, Seth was happy his cousin was okay, but he was more worried about his sister.
Their parents were also watching her.
"Would you all please stop watching me." Leah asked as she set down her spoon, "I am just fine. I.... Well I was hoping Emily wouldn't be with him, but we are way past that now. C-Can we go see her?"
Sue smiled a little sadly while hugging her daughter, "We can't tonight since she just got out of surgery some hours ago. Though we can swing by there tomorrow if you really want to."
Leah nodded but she looked over at Ryan, "Will you come with us?"
Ryan smiled slightly, "Of course I will."
Harry sent him a nod which was unneeded, most of Ryan's time was spent just sitting around his house leveling up his skills. If he wasn't doing that then he was high most of the time, or at basketball, so he had plenty of free time to go with them.
Plus it was Leah asking, there was no way that he could refuse, he took his best friend job seriously.
Leah beamed at him before Seth changed the subject and started to talk about the girl he met at the beach, his mom giving him a sly smile while his father laughed. Ryan smiled as Leah reached over taking his hand, he knew that at the moment she needed strength so that she wouldn't break down again.
When they finished their meal Ryan went into Seth's room and took out his spare clothes, it was just a few he kept over whenever he stayed over. Seth always kept them in his closet, he always joked about wanting Ryan to be his older brother rather then having Leah as an older sister.
Though Ryan knew that Seth was over protective when it came to his sister, it wouldn't surprise him if Seth had threatened Sam earlier today. He chuckled at the thought as he went to take a shower, they always allowed him to go first since he was a guest, he never turned them down either.
An hour later he was laying on the couch while trying to sleep, the house was quiet, Meredith was sleeping with Harry and Sue tonight.
When the clock struck midnight Ryan heard the creaking of a floorboard, opening his eyes he saw that Leah in nothing but a t-shirt and short shorts was walking towards him. Noticing him looking at her she shuffled in embarrassment some, "Well I can't get to sleep and I was hoping....."
Ryan knew what she was trying to say as she trailed off, all he did was lift his blanket, without a word she crawled in next to him holding him close with a sigh. He pulled her in close and she relaxed, it wasn't even five minutes later that her breathing evened out and she was asleep.
Kissing her forehead Ryan fell asleep too, he didn't catch the small smile that graced her face as he did so.

Chapter 6):
Ryan woke with light in his eyes, he was sleeping at just the right angle where the sunlight hit his eyes, honestly he was a little annoyed by it. Though he knew that he would need to wake soon seeing as Sue would come any moment, though the weight on his chest prevented him from moving.
Looking down he saw that Leah was sleeping right on top of him, though to be fair with the size of the couch it was hard for them not to be sleeping like this. Sighing he reached for his phone straining his muscles as he tried not to move her, checking the time he saw that if he left even thirty minutes from now he would be on time for class.
Which caused him to frown, that just meant he didn't get enough sleep, so he would be sleeping a lot through the day.
"Good morning." A voice said from above them as he was checking his phone he was startled, looking at who it was he saw Sue with a bright smile.
"Oh, good morning Sue. Is there breakfast?" He asked with a wide smile.
She chuckled shaking her head, "I will make you something but you need to hurry and get ready. They need to be at school soon just as I am sure that you need to be too. So wake Leah and then you both can come eat."
Ryan frowned hearing that, she gave him the hardest task every, Leah wasn't a morning person, even worse she didn't like to wake at all. He got lucky last time they were on the beach seeing as she wasn't complaining since they weren't at home, but with her in this environment it would be hard.
For a second he thought of throwing her off or asking for water so he could dump it on her, the moment he thought of that though he stopped. No other reason then he didn't want to not be able to have kids, she had threaten that the first time he did something like that, and Leah always kept her promise.
But then again, who liked getting woken up in the morning?
Sighing he leaned down and yelled in her ear, "Leah! Wake up the house is on fire!"
Smiling in satisfaction as Leah jumped up alarmed he stood as well while stretching, it took her a moment but eventually she learned he was lying and growled. Ryan laughed hearing that because he thought of her as a wolf, but he knew that he shouldn't have just stood there.
"RYAN!!!" She shouted as he tried to take off, they both ended up on the ground though with her on top as she bit his chest.
"LEAH!" He shouted, it didn't really hurt him but she was biting hard enough to make it uncomfortable so he couldn't hold his shout back.
Laughter brought them back to reality, Leah lifted her head and Ryan turned his to see Harry and Seth laughing at the both of them. Meredith just walked over and licked his face before going over to the food that was set out for her, they both moved away from one another.
Though Leah was still glaring at him even as she walked down the hallway leaving them alone.
"Well then, my job is done meaning I can get breakfast." Ryan said with a smile as he walked past the father and son going into the kitchen where he could already smell the bacon and eggs.
Sue was setting down a plate of toast as he took his seat, "Ahh Sue, when are you going to leave Harry here and marry me? We could do it today even, my car is right out front we could run away together." He said with a happy sigh as he filled his plate, sure he could cook but having someone who could cook for him was always awesome.
Before she could answer he was slapped in the back of the head by two different hands, "Stop trying to steal my wife, she is never going to go with you." Harry said as him and Seth were the ones who had hit his head.
Rolling his eyes Ryan shot the laughing Sue a wink, "Yeah keep her close Harry, we both know she will fall for my charms sooner or later."
Seth threw a piece of bacon at him which he caught in his mouth while laughing, soon Leah walked into the kitchen hitting the back of his head as she passed, "Stop hitting on my mom, she is way out of your league." she said as she filled her plate, she was already ready for the day.
Sighing Ryan shook his head, "You guys are mean. Thank you for the breakfast Sue, I am going to go and get ready, do you mind keeping Meredith for me today?"
"Sure no problem, I will actually take her. We are going fishing today and I am sure she would love a ride on the boat." Harry stepped in as Ryan nodded his thanks and went to change.
Getting out the shower he threw on a white t-shirt, a black leather jacket, black slim fit jeans and blue converse. After securing his watch he walked out to the living room where everyone was moving around getting ready to leave, he smiled at the sight.
It reminded him of his past life, and a little of this early childhood. His parents in this life though sadly stopped having moments like this with him after he reached the age of ten, after that it was just nannies.
This is one of the reasons Ryan counted himself as abandoned by them, even if they came back on the weekends, it wasn't to really see him.
"Alright kids all of you have a good day. Ryan we will see you later, if you end up having to do something let us know, other then that we will be heading to the hospital around six." Sue said as they were all leaving out the door.
"Sure thing I will be there. And I will call just in case something does come up." Walking over he gave Seth a bro hug, Sue a regular hug, Harry a hand shake, then he walked and hugged Leah close her head going into his chest, leaning down a little he whispered in her ear, "Take it easy today, if you need me for anything call right away and I will be there, okay?"
She nodded in his chest, "Thank you."
Pulling back he smiled at her, "No need for the thanks. I am your best friend after all, so it is natural that I will be there for you when you need me. See you all later."
They all waved at one another as Ryan went and got into the car, he had put his backpack in knowing that he was staying so he could head right to school. Looking at the time he also noticed that he would be there in time for trigonometry, not the entire class but he would be there for at least thirty minutes, maybe more if he sped.
Yawning at his lack of sleep he started smoking some weed as he made his way there, with his full belly he could get away with no snacks until lunch.
-------
Ryan walked slowly into the school, he had miscalculated and noted that he got there where he would have thirty-five minutes left in class so he was walking slow. As he entered the building it was thirty-three minutes, it would take the last three to actually get to the class so he didn't see the need to rush.
When he rounded the corner leading into the math hall he smiled as he saw the door, this would be his first time in the class since last Monday. He still could remember that he couldn't do this until they were a month into the school, once the teachers saw how advanced he was though they allowed it.
Without knocking he walked right into the class room making the teach pause mid sentence, "Yo Mr. Crash, I'm on time today."
There was some laughing in the class but it was true that this would be considered on time for him, "Well I am happy you have graced us with your presence then Mr. Robins, did you do the homework last night?"
"Sure did." Ryan took it out handing it over before heading to his seat, which he noticed that there was someone new sitting next to him. Looking closely it was Rosalie Hale, but he didn't see Emmett in the class, which made him wonder why but he wasn't about to ask.
They glanced at one another her with a small frown, him with an indifferent expression, putting his bag down he sat down. Not a second later he put his head down to sleep, the teacher didn't even bother to give him work or stop him, because then he knew Ryan would just leave.
"Alright class, let's get back to the assignment." Mr. Crash said as Ryan drifted off to sleep.

Chapter 7):
Ryan woke to the sound of the bell, sitting on his desk was a paper with a sticky note that said homework, stuffing it in his bag he took his things and left. While leaving he noticed some people trying to talk to Rosalie, but she politely and somewhat rudely told them to leave her alone, which made him laugh some.
Going into the halls it parted slightly for him as he made his way to the next class, as he was leaving he did notice Alice and Jasper walking out of another room. Alice sent him a wave, that he ignored, just because everyone else wanted to be their friends didn't mean he did, he was still up for ignoring them.
Though he wondered how long it would take before people started to ignore them, most likely the same amount of time it took for them to push everyone away.
------
The day was slow and besides his first class Ryan didn't have any with the rest of the coven, which was something he was happy about. Though he did pass them in the halls and was annoyed that Edward kept glaring at him, it was getting to the point that Ryan was considering putting a bomb in the guys car.
He was sure that he could get away with it, there was no way that his system wouldn't help him learn skills on criminal activities, in the Sims you could be one after all. Sighing he took another big hit of his weed, it was lunch again and he was hungry, though that might have to do with the fact that he had smoked in between classes.
Smiling he finished it off before walking into the cafeteria, as he did so all talk seemed to stop, it only took one look for him to realize why all talk did. As everyone looked between him and his table, at the moment which was occupied by none other then the Cullens.
They seemed to figure something out because they also all looked over at him, sighing he walked to his table seeing that one seat was still available, he wasn't giving up his table, not even for them. Ignoring the looks and whispers he took the seat that was between Alice and Rosalie as he brought out his food, that seemed to make the noise return.
From the side of his eye he could see the people around the table stiffen a moment, but they didn't say anything as they watched him bring out his food he cooked. He had taken to making Bentos to help store his food, he had the whole weeks worth plus snacks so he was always ready.
Digging into his cucumber sandwiches he ignored the glares from Edward and Rosalie, the constipated look Jasper had, the happy smile Alice had, the little chuckle Emmett gave and the questioning look he got from... Well he didn't know her, she was someone new, but she did look like the girl version of Edward.
Twenty minutes went by in silence before he couldn't take it anymore, "Is there a reason you all feel the need to stare at me?"
It was Alice who asked but it was in a super happy voice as she did so, "Well me and my siblings just aren't use to someone sitting with us. Let alone someone who has half the school looking at you like they are prepared for you to freak out."
He nodded, "Its cause your at my table."
"Your table?" Rosalie asked with some heat in her voice.
"Yes my table. There is a reason when you all came in here this was the only empty table, it is mine plain and simple. I don't talk to the people here much because they annoy me since I am an out of towner who moved in, after awhile it wore off and they knew not to sit with me." Ryan answered as he went back to eating his food.
"Oh you're not from Forks then?" Alice asked again, he was sure she would be the one who would be talking the most out of everyone at the table. She was the friendliest besides Emmett out of them.
Ryan sighed as he finished his food putting away the container and grabbing another family sized bag of chips, "No. I moved here towards the end of summer this year, my parents are lawyers working in Seattle at the moment, their firm sent them there. I didn't want to be in the city so they bought a place here."
"Oh is that why we didn't meet them yesterday? We were wondering why no one came home last night." Alice said with a sunny smile, he was actually finding it hard to ignore her.
Ignoring her though he just ate his food, well that is until his phone rang, taking it out his pocket he saw that it was Leah, "Hey care-bear, what's happening?" he joked.
There was a moment of pause before she laughed a little, though he could tell that she was holding in tears, "That is the last time you call me that or I swear you will lose that thing between your legs." she said while sniffling.
"What's wrong?" He asked getting serious and putting his chips down, he knew that no matter where he went they would hear him so he didn't bother to leave the table.
There was another pause before she spoke, this time she broke down though, "Nothing just some stupid girls who were friends with me and Emily but they are blaming me and taking Emily's side. Also they are saying that Sam was smart to leave me, can you believe they called me the bitch?"
Ryan laughed a little, "I don't know sometimes..."
"Ryan, I swear to whoever you believe in that if you finish that sentence I will kill you." she laughed but there was real heat in her voice. He could see around the table that some of them were trying their best to hold in smiles, except Edward who had
