The first therians—genetically engineered animal-human hybrids—created were chimpanzees. Due to the aggressive nature of chimpanzees, the chimp-therians were uncontrollable and quickly discontinued. The next therians created were wolf- and dog-therians, which were much more manageable. Additional species were added gradually.
