À propos Find Me A Video
Finding, researching, and preserving rare variety and circus videos.
Help Me Discover Forgotten Circus & Variety History
I specialise in finding rare, forgotten and hard-to-discover videos of circus and variety performers from around the world.
Through online searches, newspaper archives and historical research, I’ve uncovered hundreds of videos, including footage believed to be lost or previously unknown.
Some discoveries have changed lives. I helped an 84-year-old man uncover the identity of his biological father through a 1937 Pathé film. I also found 1940 footage that allowed a performer's children and family to see their parents' act for the very first time.
I’ve helped performers rediscover their television and film appearances, brought forgotten artists back into the spotlight, and contributed research recognised by writers in the juggling community.
Find Me A Video is a free, non-monetised project. I’m a curator and researcher rather than a creator, passionate about preserving remarkable footage and the stories behind it.
Finding videos and researching their history takes time. If you enjoy my discoveries and would like to help me continue, your support would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for helping keep circus and variety history alive!
