Last Saturday, April 20, 2024-We completed our Training Cycle on Hilot Binabaylan Class and did the Graduation Ceremony outside our Training Center and travel to the Angono-BInangonan Petroglyphs site which is in the Province of Rizal.
As we go to the main venue where the wall curving could be found, we need to pass through a tunnel by walking in it. It was dark inside but if you just look straightforward, you will see light at the end of the tunnel.
I believe that this experience of walking inside the tunnel is just like our life experience which all of us are passing through a tunnel of darkness which requires us to move and walk towards the light. Lakay would joke us to not follow the light as it has been depicted on tv shows that following the light would mean crossing the veil of life to death. But in my mind, not following the light may mean that you are staying on darkness, just like this tunnel experience that staying on the darkest part of the tunnel is just like being buried 6 feet under the ground.
I am glad that we are still alive and has the ability to move forward and live our life in the light and not stay in the dark for long time. As darkness make us to fall asleep and light wake us up to enjoy living our life.
