We celebrated the completion of our fifth year of operations at CodeGirls with a convention on January 6th!
The event was really well planned by the programs team at CodeGirls, with talks, a panel discussion, student results, trainer awards, and an MOU signing ceremony with UGI-JFF and IBA-CED.
For me, there were two highlights of the day.
The opening note by Dr. Hasnain Walji (our cofounder) and his discussion on verse 95:4: "Indeed, We created humans in the best form."
The talks by Mariam and Maria, two of our star alumni, shared their journey in tech and the amazing milestones they have achieved.
I am honored to be part of this journey towards an equitable tech ecosystem and work alongside my cofounders, our generous sponsors, our mission-driven team, and our incredible trainers and mentors.
