> "split-wave" may bring 🌧 late Sun + Mon <

* Blue:
The developing tropical wave has split into 2 parts: 1 approaching as a weak tropical wave and the other now designated as invest 96L with a low (30%) to high (70%) chance of developing within the next 2-7 days.
1) the approaching wave will likely bring Showers (some possibly heavy) to the southern Caribbean tonight through Sun, then a couple Showers to the northern islands (including the SSS Islands) by late Sun & Mon.
2) invest 96L currently located about 1,000 mi East of the Caribbean (centered along 47°W) is expected to pass well to the NorthEast of the Caribbean from tonight through Mon.
...regardless of development, there will be no effects to the Caribbean.

* Red:
The ‘newest’ tropical wave that just recently emerged off the coast of Africa (centered along 20°W) currently has no chance of developing.
…it is too early to determine the outcome of this system.
⚠ We will continue to monitor the Atlantic -- as we head into the PEAK of the hurricane season.
