News from Every Animal in September:
▪️ At the 5th Vegan Weekend, we raised about 7,100$ (262,569 UAH) for the needs of the deminers of the 241st brigade, for the @support_azov fund in support of the fighters of the 3rd separate assault brigade, and for vegan parcels for the military, which we send as part of the VKU. In total with previous events, this means about 27,407$ (1,013,130 UAH) for the Defense Forces. Thanks to all the participants and guests who supported our fundraiser!
▪️ We distributed 5,705 servings of vegan meals and sent 39 vegan parcels to the military as part of the Vegan Kitchen of Ukraine.
▪️ Published 3 collaborations with the organization UAnimals, in which we talked about animal exploitation in the fashion industry, Vegan Weekend, and the story of rescuing a calf.
▪️ Released 4 videos on our YouTube channel. We prepared a review for the most successful vegan film and translated Surge videos on current topics for vegans.
▪️ In September, 108 new people registered for Vegan Express course.
▪️ Wrote 8 materials for the Vegan Express and EA blogs. We explored the history of veganism in Ukraine, types of vegan activism, interviewed plant-based alternative brands, and shared stories of former farmers who became vegans.
▪️ Together with the brand @eat.me.at, we launched the sale of charitable merchandise. T-shirts with the inscription "Eating animals is strange" could be purchased at Vegan Weekend and support the fundraiser for vegan rations for the military. Stay tuned for updates.
