Where Am I Now?

Mutiny Reflections has reached over 300 posts and 1857 is drawing to a close. The idea is to expand now into 1858 but in the meantime, I have a second book to write!
The Lucknow Residency - A Story of 1857 was published in July 2024 and marked a personal achievement for me - a book I have worked on for so many years has finally seen the light of day. It is available over Barnthorn Publishing https://www.barnthornpublishing.co.uk/ as a paperback or an e-book.
The book is hardly just a guidebook - although the main idea is to give visitors to the site a more comprehensive visit, it has been conceived with the premise that not everyone can travel to India. As such, it can be enjoyed from the comfort of your armchair!
I also started a new site, Eating the Raj, where the focus is food and social life in India, mainly pre-1900. I started this more for the enjoyment I derive from researching and writing. Hopefully, as time goes by, I will be able to expand on it.
So the year draws to a close. I hope my sites continue to provide joy, entertainment and above all, a new interest in all things.
