[T/N] I apologize for grammar mistakes and incoherencies

 Chapter 1: Brown-Gown.

“No, Phii. I'm not into that either.”

A young man in a clean white student uniform spoke decisively on the other end of the phone line. He had just returned from his faculty's orientation and decided to settle down with his close senior in a conversation before walking up to the dormitory he had just moved into less than a week ago.

“Pai, help me, this is for the faculty's reputation.” The other side continues to urge.

“No, Phii. You know, I don't like messing around with crowds. Just let Waan do it, Phii. He's so handsome.” Pai replied in a plain voice.

“No Pai, most of the faculty has chosen you, how could you Pai not do it? This is Faculty’s Moon, everyone wants to be one.” Phii-Phak is a senior from the old high school. And now, he still has the status of a senior in his Medical Science Faculty, so that is why he is speaking uncompromisingly.

“Phii-Phak. It's inconvenient. Many people are more ready to take on that role than me, more handsome than me, you let someone else take up that role, please.” He replied in a weaker voice, but the intention inside did not change.

“Pai, don't argue with the majority! Just assume you are helping the facility. Pai, you know? It's been a long time since our Medicine Faculty awarded University Moon. We've lost to Engineering for two years in a row, this year I put my hopes on Pai.” The person at the end of the line is persuasive.

“Don't say this, whether Engineering wins or whomever, and I don't see anything, Phii. The Faculty’s Moon race doesn't measure anything, I win nothing, are you not overstating things too much? Besides, Waan is so handsome, if Waan finds out that you're calling me like this, he'll be angry with me.”

“Now that your name is now the Faculty’s Moon unofficially, the seniors choose you Pai the most. Although you have said you won't be, it doesn't have any effect anyway. Waan is Pai's friend, he's a nong in the same faculty too, and he will not be angry.”

“Phii, I really don't want to be. Don't force me.” He lifted a soft stick and said 'deny' again.

“Come on. Pai, go to rest and think carefully, I'll call you in three days to ask for a new answer. Don't rush, I can wait.” Phakat said, without giving up.

“Today or three days later, the answer is and will be the same, Phii.” Pai replied softly but full of firmness.

“I’ll call again in three days, hope Pai doesn’t reject me.”

The other end of the line urged one last time before cutting the call without saying goodbye. The young man took out his cell phone and looked at it with a slightly uneasy brow furrowed. He doesn’t like being forced. No matter what and from whom, even if the other party was a senior, he was very close.

...

“Weakling...”

A sneaky voice came from not far away from him, and the young man turned left and right looking for the source, and soon found the owner of the voice. Not anyone else but Ittkon! He can not call him a friend, he's not really an enemy. Let's just say he's a guy from his old school.

“Nosy...”

He replied with a nonchalant expression in stark contrast to the other side who had irritated him. For others, replying like this to a stranger would definitely be the start of a boxing match. But not for him and the person in front of him, on the one hand, they were not strangers, and on the second, he knew this person's personality well.

“I'm not nosy, you just mentioned my faculty name. Plus, you're referring to me, how can you say I'm nosy.” Itt, the boy, another young man sitting one table away, replied with a sly look.

“Are you an Engineering Faculty’s Moon?” Pai slightly raised his eyebrows.

“Of course, Nong.” Itt furrowed his eyebrows.

“Huh, I pity your faculty as well, they looked around and could only find you as the most handsome one.” Pai spoke annoyed as well.

“Your faculty is the same, people like you are damn handsome.” Itt retorted unabashedly, trembling at even the slightest bit of insult. Pai and Itt are very different human beings.

Pai - A young man from the Medical Sciences Faculty is a tall and well-dressed thin man. His shirt was always tucked in the hem of his pants, his white skin contrasting with the raven hair that had never been colored once. If you were to define the most framed human beings, Pai is probably one of them. He doesn't like breaking the rules, messing things up, and messing around. The only things he liked were silence and a good book.

Itt - A young man from the Engineering Sciences Faculty was dressed disorganized from head to toe. His hair was dark brown to the nape, he had a student shirt tucked in a button down, trousers that were so small, almost skinny, and flashy sneakers. If Pai was a rules-following man, then Itt would be the opposite, for not only disobeying rules but also doing the rule-breaking.

“You are not competing because you are afraid of losing to me.” Itt's voice rang out with a tone that sounded like a mockery.

“Nonsense, I don't care.” Pai turned around, ready to walk up the tower without caring about the person in front of him again.

“You will lose to me.” Itt raised his voice again as he saw that the other party was about to walk away.

“Lose to you? So what? I can't see that it would be of any significance to my life.” Pai turned around angrily.

“Oh, yeah, I forgot, you've always lost to me.”

The youth whose skin was neither white nor black spoke out deliberately to provoke Pai’s anger. Itt raised his hand to caress the earring, deliberately worn on the right side, this earring in the shape of a tiny gown. But instead of being white, like a normal gown, it was dyed a dull dusty color. Ittikon rubbed the earring slowly. Obviously, Itt knew very well that this earring meant so much to Pai that it could break the arrogant Dr. Pai's muted character.

“If I won, then why would you.” Pai tried to calm down, the sentence that listened to knew that it was an offer.

“If you beat me, I'll give you one right to request anything. Like what I got from you, this one here.”

The young man said with a smile. Yes, Doctor Pai had lost a bet with Itt, and what he received was the right to order the loser thing. At that time Itt chose not to decide what to order but instead asked for Pai’s earring. A Brown-Gown earring which he loved so much, as long as this earring was with Itt, it meant that he was always one step behind Itt.

“Okay, I'm going to compete, and when I win, I'll come and get my gown earring back.”

Pai said with a stern voice before walking back up to the dormitory, not paying attention to the person in front of him again. Itt happily sucked on the iced coffee that had been left there, his other hand still caressing the gown-shaped earring as if it were his favorite toy.

“This time you will lose to me again, Dr. Pai.”

Chapter 2: Meeting again.

“If I agree to be Moon, will you be mad at me?”

His voice rang when the other end answered the call, Pai decided to call Waan as soon as he opened the door to his room. Waan was the second most-voted Faculty’s Moon pick. Pai thinks that Pai definitely deserved to be Moon instead of the most chosen one like him.

“Hey? Why would I be angry? You get the most points, you must be, then what am I going to get angry at you?” The other end of the line answers with a good laugh.

“At first, I told them they should let you be my replacement.”

“I haven't said yes yet, or rather I haven't really thought about it yet? Haha.”

Waan or Doctor Waan, his high school best friend replied in a habitually cheerful voice. They've been close friends since they were in the old high school. Waan is very good-humored and friendly, almost the opposite of him who is quiet and doesn't talk much.

“Anyway, what can inspire someone like you to change your mind?” The other person continues to ask with curiosity.

“It's nothing, let it be.” Pai said annoyed.

“Pai clue me in. I didn't doubt it at first, but now I'm starting to wonder. What is it that makes a young master like you who lives in the ivory tower to want a Moon title and go to mingle with humans?” Waan asked annoyedly but seriously wanted an answer from him.

“I said nothing.”

“Pai.”

“Today I met Itt.”

“Itt, Knight Itt? The Power Maniac.”

“Well, he has passed the Engineering Faculty entrance exam, I just saw him today.”

“And?”

“He is a Faculty’s Moon.”

“That's right, a muscular giant like King Kong should be Moon, I think. When he was in high school, he was good at many things, this is understandable.” Waan examined.

“Oh, that's it.” Pai cuts the conversation.

“What next? Pai, I don't see how Itt being Engineering-Moon has anything to do with you, or do you want to compete with University-Moon to win against him? I don't think so.” The other end of the line said that he knew his friend well.

“He said that if I win, he will return the gown to me.” Pai replied, trying to keep his tone as smooth as possible.

“Really?”

“Um.”

“Your childish high school battle isn't over yet, I thought it was over after high school graduation.” Waan said with a laugh.

“Who would have thought that we would meet again?”

“Oh, all right, whatever you want to do, let me know if you have anything to help.” Waan summarized.

“Well, now I have something for you to help me with.”

“What?”

“You can help me call and tell Phii-Phak that you have succeeded in persuading me to become Moon. At first, I rejected him very harshly. I don't want to lose face.” Pai begged his friend in a soft voice.

“Hahaha, you-ass, you never lose your scheming face.” Waan jokingly burst out laughing at his friend's greatness.

“Yeah, help me please.”

“If other people come to know that the handsome Pai's real personality is like this, what will others say hahaha.”

“Well, next time if you meet a girl you like, I'll walk over and ask for her number for you, it's considered squared to you.”

“Let you go and ask for a girl's number for me. I'm sorry, all the girls turn to want you. Wow, handsome Doctor Pai, learn to use Facebook sometimes so that you will know that there are always people who are dying to flirt with you.”

“Annoying.”

“Hey, how can you say that? Love is the color of the world. You-ass, I wonder if you've read those books until you've turned into a heartless stone tablet.” Waan joked in a good mood.

“Love is not necessary for me in my life at all, nonsense.”

“Honestly, do you like anyone? Your hormones shouldn't be abnormal, you have to like someone! Tell me, and I'll help.”

“No? I like being quiet like this.”

“Lying will send you to hell.”

“Hell is not open for business for people like me.”

“So weird.”

“Oh, let me go, please call Phii-Phak, I'll go get something to eat.”

“Oh, good luck. See you on Monday.”

“Yes.”

Pai cut the call and threw his phone onto the bed next to him, he raised his hand to his chin and looked aimlessly out of the window. Love for him was very messy and difficult to understand, but he couldn't really say that it was difficult to understand, or he didn't really try to understand it.

'Sigh.'

Chapter 3: Moon.

The life of most First-Year science major university students is similar in that almost all students, and all faculties must study the same basic subjects in the university's central curriculum. So, no matter what faculty, most of them have to meet face to face as normal because even though they don't study in the same class, most of them have to study in the same building anyway. The university's First-Year is a golden time for students of all faculties to make friends with other faculties which may include faculties, especially with Medicine Faculty, this is the prime time before. When they are in their second year, they rarely look up from the textbooks anymore.

“This girl is cool.” A muse sounded, accompanied by a good-natured whistling sound.

“One person for Waan, I've listened to more than ten young boobies for me to listen to, pick just one person, there are lots and lots of AIDS these days beware of asking.”

Pai shook his head, continuing his breakfast with his head down. They were in the Basic Science Faculty canteen; this morning was the first day of school. Their First-Year didn't have any classes in their specialized faculty, and all basic science subjects were studied here.

“I'm protecting you, fuck. This girl is cool.”

Waan didn't care what he complained about, his mouth continued to measure the people around him if he had to say. Regarding flirting, Waan is considered the number one flirtatious eye, always making his eyes flutter when meeting a woman he likes. but never went in to flirt with anyone seriously, but sat and talked to him continuously.

“Horny-dog”

“Hey, an angel in a fitted shirt is walking straight over here.”

Waan said and picked up some water, pretending to drink so as not to show too much interest. He turned his head slightly to find that the person his friend actually said was a woman and was walking this way. One is that this woman is really cool, the second is that we could call her Waan angel without being ugly, and lastly, her clothes fit perfectly as Waan said.

“Pai, right?”

The owner of a fitted shirt and short skirt asked him. If the woman in front of him was indeed a good-looking woman, how does he explain it? She looks like a confident woman! For him, he may not be able to define beauty as much as this. But whatever, whether the woman in front of him is beautiful or not is none of his business.

“Um. My name is Pai, is there anything I can help you with?”

The young man responded according to the etiquette at the end of the sentence that says that there is nothing to help or not.

“My name is Namhom. Phii-Phak called to tell me about the Faculty's Star. On Friday I had a job casting, so I didn't go to orientation. But Phii-Phak said that I was elected to be Star, Pai you are Moon. Well, a senior at the Central Club called me this evening to attend a meeting about the Star-Moon contest, and asked me to tell Faculty’s Moon.”

Namhom said while standing like that, he looked up to listen intently to his fellow faculty who had just learned that he had received the rank of Faculty’s Star. In fact, on Friday when the voting was open, Namhom was nominated, as well as the title of Star, plus she received the award even though she wasn't even at the meeting. But it's considered worthy, casting a job like this, she probably has some work in the entertainment industry. Namhom would have been better suited to stand in the light than he was, at least she seemed more familiar and liked to be the center of attention more than him.

“Really? How, where and what time is it? Do I need to prepare anything first?” He asked in a slightly more enthusiastic voice, at least it must be considered both of them.

“Whale Building, first floor at 6pm. There is probably not much preparation needed I guess. Probably gonna have to go there and listen.”

“This is my LINE, add me. If there is anything, please contact me, let's keep in contact.”

Pai opened the LINE screen and handed over his phone to Faculty’s Star to scan to add LINE, keeping his expression flat. Waan's expression was flat as well, but his eyes flashed indistinctly. Less than three seconds after Namhom left, he must have been teased by his friends.

“Okay, see you later.”

The woman took out her mobile phone and scanned his LINE ID, kept it until it had been recognized, then said goodbye and walked away before leaving. She turned and smiled slightly at Waan as if she had just remembered, but she didn't say anything. Namhom walked away from them, with many eyes on her, the Faculty’s Star, who really caught the eye.

“Damn, Phii! Did Pai give away LINE to a girl? I wonder if this is my friend who I thought was going to be single forever.” Waan rubbed his shoulders nervously.

“Event? Got the news.” He answered without any interest.

NAMHOM-099111xxxx: sent a sticker.

“Damn it, she also set her phone number as her LINE name for you? I wonder if you are going to flirt with her anymore.” Waan Yao continues when he sees his line bouncing. Namhom greeted him and most importantly, she set her phone number as her LINE name as well.

“I give her to you, you flirt with her if you get a girlfriend as a Faculty’s Star and you'll sleep better in your sleep.”

Pai said with a stern expression before standing up to put the plate back in his place without caring about his friend anymore. Who knows, Waan might have flirted with Namhom, in fact, Waan was considered a good-looking man, if he intended to woo Namhom. Honestly, it's quite good enough to see this, but Waan also has people flirting so that he can't even count his fingers.

...

“Hello everyone, welcome to the first Star-Moon conference this year.”

A plump woman with a stern look standing and holding the microphone chattering in front of the meeting room at this time. Now, they're in the Whale Building, this is the faculty science school building where children, this university nicknamed the Whale Building. A building that looks like a whale, the size of a building that's fat like a whale, or perhaps comparing the students in the class to plankton dying in a whale's stomach.

“First of all, I have to tell you that our university's Star-Moon contest doesn't focus on looks. The club always focuses on this issue and with every faculty that we hope that we can find agents that can represent the university. Of course, the face is not as important as the ability. Although it seems, every faculty sends people based on looks but the judgment is based on ability.”

Phii-Aom, a Third-Year student, and president of the club president of the university continue to explain various matters of the Star-Moon contest tirelessly. At first, Pai understood that he had to come alone, but when he arrived, he found that each faculty member came with a lot of friends and seniors. Pai, therefore, pinned Waan to accompany him in this meeting as well. Of course, Namhom also attended the meeting, she was a few lecture tables away from him. The conference room used has more seats, more people attending the meeting, and the children who sit and listen sit at a comfortable distance from each other. Namhom was the closest to them, of all the faculties, but they didn't talk to each other except smiles a bit.

“Shit, this is clearly a harem.”

Waan's voice whispered from beside him, completely suppressing his excitement. What Waan said was not wrong because this conference gathered all the good-looking people from all over the university in a very warm way. It can be said that if the meeting room was blown up now, the average face value of this university student would have drastically decreased, Star and Moon from each faculty were selected to the end. Not counting seniors from each facility who came to listen, most of which were Star-Moon from last year.

“You have to thank me for dragging you with me.”

He immediately took the opportunity to request Waan's gratitude. At first, he also complained about the fact that he had been dragged into the meeting. If he liked it, then he would be able to drag it more often in fact. He didn't really want to come with the two of Namhom, like that. He doesn't really like being around people he doesn't know very well. As for Phii-Phak, there is not to mention, after he agreed to become Moon, he never contacted him again, so he was already drifting away.

Chapter 4: The way back to the dorm

The main point of our discussion today is to explain the concept of the Star-Moon contest. In fact, Star-Moon is not a contest to find the best-looking person but to select the right student representative to represent the university to participate in activities with other universities. In addition, the club is also making efforts to build relationships between faculties by allowing Star-Moon members from each faculty to be close to each other, further faculty participation will be more convenient. Pai sat and listened and began to look at the picture of the Star-Moon contest progressively. Even if some things don't make sense, overall, it's better than just picking out the best-looking guy on campus.

“Next, so that everyone gets closer and dissolves the behavior. We are going to play a buddy game, where everyone will pick one of their friends who is Star-Moon from different faculties. Catch someone's name, and take care of that person without him knowing, this activity will be for one month. The Star-Moon contest will be held about a month and a half before the mid-term exams, in which we will answer buddies' challenges a month or two weeks before the contest date. During this time, I want everyone to be very close to each other. The club wants Star-Moon of the university to be the person who connects all faculties together after the event. Which faculty would like to organize activities with any faculty, can talk and manage by themselves.”

Buddy Catchup evolved much further than expected. The method they used to pick the other is to pick up a mobile phone and open a random online room website. When everyone randomly picks up one number, the system will prevent people from the same faculty from catching each other's names. Buddy's lottery draw was very fast, he randomly picked a 22 out of all the numbers, and what was it called? The jackpot can break, he caught the person he didn't think he would catch at all.

'Engineering Science Faculty...'

“Damn it, you caught Itt.” Waan threw his head into a whisper as soon as he saw his name appear on his mobile screen. Well, what would he fit like this?

“Can I switch?”

Pai murmured consultatively; his gaze swept across the room to find the person who said it. His eyes soon met with an eye that had been seen before, Itt really stood out. Even though the room was full of monstrously good-looking people, Itt's aura seemed to be unbeatable, his new hair cutting sideways with his hair that had been dyed back to black. Most importantly, it was in a dark red shop shirt next to the other students who were all in normal school uniforms, maybe that was what made it stand out and catch his eye so much.

“Are you stupid or are you stupid? An online raffle like this, can you still hope to switch? Do you think they don't keep any information? How did you pass the medical faculty entrance exam?” Waan replied, nervous. He already knew. He's unlikely to change labels in this hand, at least for now.

“On the other hand, just thinking about taking care of that bastard makes me sick of it.”

Pai grumbled and nudged Waan back, after seeing that the meeting was over. The people in the room gradually began to get up and leave.

“Uh-huh.”

Waan picked up his bag and followed him out of his seat, sympathizing with the dissolution of the meeting as well, but he did not forget to wave goodbye to Namhom, his fellow faculty in a good mood. Pai had to wave his hand too if Waan didn't turn around. He had almost forgotten that there was another Faculty’s Star in this conference room.

“Pai, right?” Another voice greeted him, but this time it was a male voice. Pai turned around and saw a tall, white man, who was smiling, showing him his white teeth. The man in front of him was a good-looking person, but that was not what he was interested in. Pai was more interested in why this person called him.

“Hello.”

“My name is Folk, Dentistry Faculty’s Moon, Kij is my friend from Basic Science, I saw Kij tell me that we met at First-Year Acceptance Ceremony, I came to see you so I stopped by to say hello, in the case we have to work together next time.” Folk, another new friend of his today, said with a smile showing really beautiful teeth.

“Oh, we're Pai, Medicine Faculty, nice to meet you.” As expected of Dentistry Faculty’s Moon.

Pai smiled at Folk once before nodding once and begging to split up. He knew that replying to a new friend with two sentences like this was a bit rude, but never mind, he's been like this since time immemorial. Folk had a puzzled look on his face but managed to let him out.

Waan unbuckled his bicycle chain and waved goodbye simply, he and Waan were on separate bicycle lanes. Waan is living in the dormitory inside the university, he is in the outer dormitory, so he has to go another way.

“Where are you going, Little Nong?”

A voice sounded a short distance away from where he parked the bicycle and turned to look to see that Waan was out of sight on his bicycle. And a new human stood not far away, the human whose name had appeared on his cell phone not so long ago.

“Little Nong, your father's face.”

He replied annoyedly that the spot where he had parked his bicycle was at the back of the building where few people parked it, so now there were only the two of them left.

“Oh? Hey? Are you, my aunt? I hadn't seen it before, hahaha.” The man in the red shop shirt continued speaking without hesitation.

“Fucking annoying.” Pai cursed without caring whether the person in front of him thought it was rude or not.

“Your dog's mouth is really consistent.” The other person answers.

“Go away, I am going back to the dorm.”

The bike parking area is divided into narrow spaces, so when Itt stands in the way like this it's blocking the way back to his dorm by default. Pai saw the same familiar thing, his lab coat earring, it was still on Itt's naughty ear.

“Back with me, I brought my car. Cycling across the main road is dangerous, you'll die before you graduate.” Itt said with a simple expression.

“No.”

“Why would you make a big deal?”

“Butt off.”

“I told you to come back with me.”

“I said I won't go back; I'll go back myself.”

“Hey, why are you talking so much? You're in the same dormitory as me, why waste time?” Itt's voice, becoming increasingly annoyed by their argument.

“You have to ask yourself why are you messing around? I came with mine; I'll go back with mine.” Pai, annoyed, then slides the bike out once more, this time Itt moves to make way for him to cycle out safely.

“If you're going to be nice to me because you caught my name as Buddy in Buddy Catch Up, you can forget about it. Me as a buddy? I will allow you not to take care of me at all! I have hands and feet to take care of myself, you don't have to take care.”

Chapter 5: Squid Porridge.

Pai is out riding his bike, sometimes he doesn't even understand why he is always flirtatiously with Itt. The fact of being a dog-mouthed person is yes, but he doesn't usually say it, much, but he's quite the bully over there. Without realizing it, he accidentally spoke.

He rode out in the silence of his senses all the way from the science facility to the front of the university, the main road in front of the university. Now it's crowded with many cars from nowhere. In fact, Itt was right, trying to cross the road on a bike now doesn't seem like a good idea at all.

‘I suspect he must have used the car by now.’

WAN1081009: Pai, I have something to show you.

WAN1081009: sent a photo.

The sound of LINE had been ringing since he had returned to the dormitory, looking at Waan's LINE where he had just parted with Pai to send a picture. Go see people who are likely to arrive before him by car. Of course, Pai didn't turn his head, he deliberately didn't turn around.

FACEBOOK FAN PAGE: Doctor Pai FC.

That's right, the picture Waan sent was a screen capture of the fan page that spoke of a human being none other than himself. Pai hurriedly clicked on Facebook to search for such a fan page and found that it existed. Actually, there was almost no information on the page, just a few pictures of him posted. From observation, those pictures should have come from a senior's camera in the facility that was taken on the day of orientation. Scrolling back and looking, again, there were more than 2,500 likes on the fan page. Who created it? So lost, who would press like?

BAIBAI: Who created it?

WAN1081009: How would I know? But you're hot too, they've opened a page a few days ago, and you already have over a thousand likes, your life will be entertaining for sure.

BAIBAI: Nonsense.

WAN1081009: Hey there, Medicine Faculty’s Moon. How are you not hot? You choose, take one! You should be a little bit more human, not mummified like this.

BAIBAI: Save yourself first, you! I see you really don't really have one? What did you say?

WAN1081009: Well, I have to choose, they call it the best use of singles.

BAIBAI: The face of the pot says, don't explain too long.

WAN1081009: Pot and why? I'm leaving, I'm sleepy, I'm going to tell you. Itt also has a fan page, hotter than you. Try to search. Itt, Ittikorn.

Pai didn't reply but chose to leave the green chat program and go back to Facebook again. The application shows a red warning that someone sent a friend request 99+, which he doesn't care how much it is. He didn't even click on him to look at the list, Pai chose to click on the search box to verify what Waan had just told.

He really has one too.

Itt's page has a lot of likes, almost ten thousand people. He admits that Itt is good-looking, but there shouldn't be that many likes. Eh, or he's actually more handsome than he thinks.

When Pai scrolled down, he found that Itt's page had been set up since he was in high school. In fact, they all went to the same school, they knew each other very well but didn't know that the other party had such serious admiration.

The page is full of stories about Itt, after reading it for a long time I can assume that it is. It's more of a page made by a fan group because as far as I can see, there are no words that look like they wrote it themselves.

The latest photo is of Itt in an engineering garage jacket with a new haircut, looking like it was taken in a classroom. How would you describe Itt, he's a white guy but he's been exposed to the sun so often that he's not as white as before, athletic-looking, irritating, and extremely unfriendly. He's like a kid who's always ready to get into trouble, Itt is something like that. In fact, his character is not bad, just a bit annoying.

The next picture is the picture of the group, Itt's face is covered with all sorts of paint marks. He was holding two thumbs up in a wide smile at the camera, it's the same smile, and the picture is full of comments. Most of them are girls who come to type and come to be crazy about handsome too, the smile in this picture has a lot of comments. He paused for a moment before scrolling to the next picture.

A few pictures later were pictures from high school, a school uniform, and blue pants. He was so familiar, Itt was the school's top athlete. The picture is composed of all sorts, and sporting moments are full. Itt is a basketball player, football player, and badminton player, but he is the most famous, with the school probably the sport of archery, even representing the country to compete in Indonesia at the International Youth Archery Championships. At that time, Itt's picture became a large vinyl sign in front of the school. It could be Moon, a basketball player, football player, badminton player, probably every school, but archery athletes are not easily found in every school like this. Itt is especially famous, among the athletes who belong to the KNIGHT CLUB or his alma mater sports club. By the time he was in sixth grade, Itt was the leader of the club and was very popular, which is no surprise that such a good-looking and outstanding talent would become a fan of girls with close to ten thousand page likes. This is enough to guarantee its popularity, at least a lot.

Knock, knock.

A voice from the door of the room called him out of the mobile screen in front of him. Pai pressed Facebook, put his hand down, held it down, and walked out to the door. This tower doesn't have a peephole and this is something he doesn't like, but that's okay. It shouldn't be that many people come to him. The only person who knows the address is Waan who came to help when moving things into the dorm, probably borrowing stuff, but why didn't he call first?

“...”

When Pai opened the door, he found nothing but the weight of the door, causing him to bend over to look at the doorknob outside.

'Who? And why does the person know that he likes to eat squid porridge?'

The first question is who hung the porridge in front of his room this time, when he flipped through the plastic bag the owner's name was not mentioned. He wondered why someone knew his hall and sent him to his room with the tributes, this was definitely not a misdirection. He likes to eat octopi’s porridge, and it's probably no coincidence that someone who knows someone like him who likes to eat octopi’s porridge is renting a room here. Pai pondered as he put a bag of porridge into the refrigerator, and let it lie there all night.

“Who?”

“Pai.”

A call sounded as he walked out of the dormitory, turning to meet the owner of the voice he had known for the first time yesterday, the white-faced dentist whose teeth were white. Folk, is he in this dorm too?

“Oh, are you in this dorm too?”

“No, but I am close by.”

“Oh, you came to see a friend?”

“I came to see you, that's it.”

“Huh?” Pai made a questioning sound in his throat.

“I saw that you studied at the Basic Sciences Faculty as well, and walked the same way, so I stopped by to pick you up.” Folk still answered with a smile.

“You don't have to, I don’t want to bother.” Pai refuses according to his habits.

“Crazy, what is the bother? We are friends.” Folk really is a human with a big smile.

“No need, I don’t want to bother.” He still insisted on the same words.

“Why go on a bike, it's dangerous. My dormitory is just here. I'm just here together. I don't see any damage.”

In fact, Folk was right, after yesterday he had to bike across the main road to return to his dorm when the car traffic was heavy during the hustle and bustle, so he decided not to take his bike to the university. Pai intended to take a taxi and forced Waan to drive him back instead.

Folk is a different human being from Itt.

Folk's face looks like a Chinese housewife, with white-skinned eyes and beautiful teeth like a dentist, a kind-hearted face suitable for filling up cavities for children. On the other hand, Itt's face is so fierce and annoying, it can be said that he has a natural face, his ears are pierced, and his hair is pierced, suitable for frightening a child that he will be kidnapped. If a child refuses to open his mouth, get rid of the tooth beetles carefully.

“Hey. It's okay. I don’t want to bother you.” Pai finally said.

“Come on, I got caught, and you Pai as a buddy, so I need to take care of you.” Folk said with a smile.

“Huh?”

“Catch Buddy yesterday? We are grown-ups, we don't have to hide from each other, we can be friends. Honestly speaking, you look easy to take care of, anyway.”

“Did you catch my name as Buddy?” Pai asked curiously. At first, he thought it was Itt who got his name since Pai had to look after and take care of Itt in the Catch Buddy system.

“Um, so I went to greet you yesterday.” Folk replied.

“Oh.”

“I can't afford to buy too many things, I can drive you there, it's easy either way.” Folk continued, his mouth still smiling non-stop.

“Um, maybe that's it.”

How Pai promised to refuse, but what Folk offered was also reasonable. The fact that someone was dropping him off in the morning wasn't such a bad thing, at least he wouldn't have to hail a taxi so early in the morning.

Folk held the moment he said yes, took the lab book in his hand, and walked towards the car parked in front of his tower's parking lot, saying he was going to say no but he was already walking ahead of him.

'Never mind, he must be a nice guy.'

Chapter 6: Carbocation.

“Pai, what? Why did you come with Folk?” Waan greeted him as he set down his plate and sat down across from him at the Basic Sciences Faculty table Waan had already sat on.

“Just because he was in a nearby dorm, he asked me to get in his car.” Pai cut off the script. Waan nodded his head a little defensively, knowing that he didn't bother asking any more questions.

“So, you're not going to your class?”

Pai turned to ask Folk suspiciously because in addition to not going to study separately. Folk also bought food and settled down to eat with them.

“Since we study in the same class, where should I go separately? You can ask.”

Folk replied with a smile. In fact, Waan knew that Medicine Faculty, Pharmacy, and Dentistry would be taking chemistry classes this morning together, but what he meant was that why was Folk going to split up and sit with his faculty friends? But when the answer is not on point. He was too lazy to ask again, when he went to school, he would know.

In short, Folk was sitting in chemistry class with them all morning.

To his right was Waan who had been asleep for the first thirty minutes. On the left side is Folk who sits down to jot down what the teacher teaches incessantly. As for Pai, he sometimes writes down, sometimes not, depending on his mood, and where he knows it and he doesn't really care and picks up the mobile phone to sit and play. In fact, he is a chemistry Olympic camp student, he has studied chemistry at the university since he was in the camp.

“Go ahead, understand here.”

Folk poked him with his finger while he was sitting on a mobile game, turning around to see it coming, with his other hand pointing at the slide that the Teacher spoke quite quickly.

“Oh, a carbocation, a positively charged carbon atom.” He simply answered.

“Oh, why is carbon positive, isn't it neutral?”

“It's in its normal state, it's neutral, but carbocations are studied to the extent of chemical reactions. In fact, in detailed steps, carbon can be positive or negative.”

“Oh, right.”

“I should have learned more, this teacher just said the intro. Just remember it's carbon positive. I'll learn again soon.”

“Good.” Folk muttered.

“How are you?”

“Meaning Pai, you're good at it, even if you learn to play on your mobile phone, you know more than others who intend to follow the teacher.” Folk said with a big smile again.

“No, I've heard about it sometimes, so I know.”

“I know that you are good at studying.”

“Not that much.”

“I wanted to reserve a tutor before the exam, looks like I have to stick with you.” The last sentence comes with a wide smile as always Medicine.

In the afternoon they continue to study in the Chemistry lab which will be divided into lab tables Pharmacy, and Dentistry, study at the same time as usual, but this time must be grouped according to student codes Pai and Waan's codes are not far apart, so they have to do the lab on the desk next to each other but different groups. Folk, who is in a different facility, has gone to another room.

“Since when did you become close with Folk?”

Waan greeted him after completing his lab work, the only thing left now was to write a lab report to the teacher and Waan dragged a chair to sit next to him. Pai doesn't know if he's here to talk or copy the lab results.

“That's right, I'm thinking the same as you.” He answered without understanding either, and Folk suddenly came to study with them today.

“Right, so how did you meet him in the morning?” Waan washes.

“He said he caught me as a buddy? He volunteered to send me.”

“He caught you as a buddy.”

“Yeah, he told me, isn't that weird too? He just came to answer.”

“Speaking of Buddy, have you started taking care of Itt yet?”

Waan asked in his mind, but the phrase pierced Pai's heart quite a bit because, in addition to not taking care of Buddy, he also had a lot of dog mouths on Buddy. I wonder if he still finds a way to stomp on him, remembering yesterday and remembering Itt's face well, his face was very dissatisfied.

“Not yet.” Pai replied in a smooth voice.

“Can I help you with anything? so that you don't have to face it.” Waan offered to help, but his eyes still looked at the lab report and followed him with a smile.

“Ass, don't copy randomly, the teacher will know that you copied each other.”

“I know what I can copy and can't copy. Pai, I also passed the entrance exam just like you.” Waan replied while his hand continued to write.

“Oh, Doctor Waan, a smart person.” Pai is sarcastic.

“By the way, let me help you, give you your stuff.” Waan continued without looking down.

“Don't you know? Wait a minute, I'll think about it, let you go, he knows that I'm the one who gave it to him, he knows that I'm close to you.” He mumbled.

“Okay, it's up to you, tell me what I can help you with.”

“If you can come up with a good idea, tell me too.”

“Then where are you going after studying?” Waan asked with a voice that sounded like chewing something in his mouth as if he would sneak some snacks into the lab as well.

“I'm going to the library? Returning to the dorm, there was nothing to do. Pai, find something to sit and read.”

“Hey, are you crazy, in your free time instead of entertainment you go to the library. Hey, it's been less than a week since the start of school.” Waan turned to complain to his friend angrily and made an embarrassed face.

Chapter 7: 950.

“Thank you.”

Pai nodded politely after the librarian scanned his student card and allowed him to enter the library. In fact, he didn't come to the library because he was diligent, but here it was quiet and the air conditioner was cool. He just came to sit and do nothing.

At first, he said he would just sit and relax, but when he went to look at the bookshelf, he couldn't help but pick it up and read it. The first chemistry lesson was mainly about atomic structure. Out of curiosity, he tried to buy a chemistry book and read it to see if the content would match what the teacher taught, in case he could guess how much and deep the content would be studied this semester.

‘Huh.’

Walking back to the table again, he could only exclaim in his heart suspiciously, Because the lab book that he had left to reserve the table now had a bright yellow paper inserted in it, he remembered that when he left there was no paper inserted, why did this paper suddenly appear?

To... BaiBai, I found you! This time, I won't let you slip away again. From... 950.

‘What.’

Pai picked up the paper and began to read it incomprehensibly. He tried to look at the people around him suspiciously but didn't find a single suspicious person. In fact, he didn't even meet a single person he knew.

Found you and what does this mean? And never let you slip away again, what is this exactly? Who, what, and when did he meet? Pai could only grumble in his heart, but he still couldn't find an answer for himself, all around him now were strange things. Itt, Folk, rice porridge, mysterious octopus, and found a 950, what kind of psychopath is this?

'OK, who the hell is this 950?'

“Hey. Pai, wait a minute.”

Shouts sounded along with the sound of footsteps, and Pai, who had just finished his meal and was about to walk back to the dorm, turned to look in the direction of the sound to meet Pure, another old school friend whom he was familiar with. Pure is Itt's best friend, they are the same besties as he was close to Wa. However, he met, and faced Pure in high school. In fact, Pai, Itt Pure, and Waan were all familiar faces, it’s just that when they were in high school, they didn't really have much to talk about, it's better to call it a fight, not a competition.

“Oh. Pure, do you study here too?”

Pai asked innocently. The truth is that he rarely uses Facebook so he hardly knows the progress of other people's lives. Plus, there are only hundreds of friends on Facebook. In his free time, he prefers to read books. If he wants to know anything, ask Waan, that leg is directly social.

“Well, I passed the same faculty entrance exam as Itt. Where are you going? I heard you're a Medicine Faculty’s Moon, ass.”

“Are you going back to the dorm? So, what are you doing here?”

“I'm practicing basketball, I'm going to play in the Freshman Games.” Pure replied with a nod towards the basketball court, turning to see a familiar face already holding a basketball, King Kong Itt.

“You haven't changed at all, you guys, really put yourselves on every program, every field.” Pai replied in a well-known way, these guys are crazy about sports, they have to play in everything.

“So what competitions are you competing in?” Pure continued asking.

“People like me? Is this going to be a sporting event? Really? Go down and I lose, I'm embarrassed for him.”

Pai replied jokingly. In fact, Pure is probably aware of his athletic misfortunes in that his high school grades didn't get a 4.00 GPA because he screwed up his PE grade.

“Do you play sports? Your body will be strong.”

“Well, I also go for a run at the gym sometimes, but don't like to sweat? Damn frustrating.” He answered honestly.

“Refreshing, sweating.” The other party argued.

“Well, you keep practicing, I'll go back to the dorm first, your friends at the stadium are waiting for you.”

He said to end the conversation. In fact, he was starting to shy away from the sight of the only guy on the basketball court he knew more about, staring at him non-stop.

“Are you free? Come play some board games with us, Itt and I are going to play a game of Catan at the board game shop in front of the university, but we have three people, I still can't find another friend.”

“Isn't that better? I'm exhausted and want to go back to sleep.”

“Why doc? You go play with Pure, hey he's been making me lose my mind all day. You are used to hanging out with Engineering guys, right?”

A third person's voice came from behind him. It was none other than Itt. King Kong walked around the basketball court from the other side towards the two of them.

“Oh. Pai, come with me please; I really want to play. Wait for me just a moment, we will shower in fifteen minutes and we'll be done.” Pure reiterated again.

“...”

Pai stopped without knowing what to answer. In truth, he was not close to the two people in front of him, just knew them but didn't feel close to the level that was enough to eat or sit together.

“Come on, after playing, I'll drop you off at the dormitory, why are you rushing back to the dormitory? This is a new semester, Pai. Let's find something to make it worthy of our freshman life, please, this restaurant has delicious cold milk.” Pure continued when he saw Pai making a decision.

“Then can I invite Waan to go with me?” Pai finally answered.

“Well, hurry up and call, let's hurry up, we'll go take a shower and change clothes first, and you'll find a place to wait in line. This, and don't turn around Pure and I have reserved a table at the shop, tell me to meet at the board game shop in front of the university.”

Itt cuts off and drags his best friend to take a shower and change clothes, but still doesn't stop saying it as well. In fact, he didn't want to go, but he was considerate that he had a lot of dog's mouth yesterday, plus went out and said he caught him as a buddy. In addition to the broken face, he also felt guilty.
