Tangerine is a moment held still a memory of sweetness, and loss resting side by side on a familiar bench. A walker waits. A red crystal heart hangs where someone once sat. Tangerine gumdrops melt into the pavement like time softening its edges. This piece reflects self-love coming full circle: the quiet recognition of what was carried, and what is finally allowed to rest.
Tangerine is part of a growing body of work leading toward my first poetry album, Caramel, releasing February 1st. Each piece stands alone, but together they tell a deeper story; of tenderness, resilience, and the long journey of disovering acceptane in oneself.
