Had a hilarious idea for a drawing last night when I was going to bed. I'm no good at drawing sand or arena's, but these two characters turned out alright!
I think my original sketch had a lot of piiiizzzzaaazzz to it. Especially the faces, doesn't quite translate as well to the full color and everything. As you can see from the sketch to the final version, I changed the overall look of the arena. I wanted to draw the stands and bleachers of a fighting arena with the sun in the back. But the angle of the shadows didn't quite match up.
Also I can't quite figure out why the thumbnails on YouTube always turn out low quality... weird...
