Women are disempowered, misinformed, and too often harmed within systems that are meant to care for them

As a doula and pregnancy & birth educator, I believe in restoring trust in women's bodies

My guests and I discuss real life events and evidence-based research, reminding women that they are free to make choices about their bodies and their babies

The show brings together mothers, doulas, midwives, and women whose paths are without children

I open space for expression of the deep wisdom we women carry in our bodies, through our intuition, and our deeply personal stories

In both shows, I ask bold questions to uncover what is and has been going wrong with society and its systems - from birth to community care, education and health, and of course our relationships with money, technology and power

I believe in empowerment - from cradle to grave, and I dream of a world where:

Birth is sacred, safe, and mostly happening in the home

Healthcare includes holistic and complementary approaches

Education is diverse and nurturing

Communities are connected and caring

And the systems that no longer serve us give way to something kinder, fairer and more human
