Em hosts Cathartic Laughs, a podcast that talks to comedians and funny folks about how they use humour to process life's hard stuff.
Em also runs Cathartic Laughs Workshops, which includes a series of comedy workshops co-hosted by Calgary comedian Adora Nwofor, on how to take personal challenges and feel the empowerment that comes with owning your own narrative and making people laugh with it.
In 2016, Em hosted the critically acclaimed comedy show by survivors, Rape is Real & Everywhere, which independently toured across Canada, prior to the explosion of the #MeToo movement. This sold-out show received standing ovations and coverage by Vice, The Guardian and The Globe & Mail and has inspired people to talk and joke about their hard experiences.
