HELLO WORLD
I am a Data Scientist, speaker, activist, and a Latina.
My name is Monica and I have about ten years working in the data analytics space holding positions such as analyst, strategist, analytics manager, and now recently a Data Scientist. I have worked at large media corporations like Discovery Communications and National Geographic, at a tech startup, the progressive space, and now I am a federal consultant where I consult federal clients on Data Science. I have a master's in Data Science.
My toolset is Python, R, SQL, Linux Commands, AWS, etc.
I am also an Adjunct Professor at UMBC for their Data Science Masters's.
With that said, I now recognize over the years that my time (which I have given so freely over the years via volunteering) and learnings are valuable, so if you want to pick my brain / need some advice/tips, I would love it if you could buy me coffee :).
