Another Target hit :)

This week I hit my challenge target of 100 miles with a stroll round Worsbrough resevoir on a very bright and shiney day, even if still a little chilly. This is my 4th medal, joining the 20k, 80k 20k ones previously. Now onto the next 100 mile one, this time based on Winnie the Pooh.

Worsbrough wildlife was out in force, with highlights being a shy Robin, that was too busy eating curmbs to come out from under the shaded table, so the picture I got is awefuul, and argumnent with a pheasent about who had right of way, and getting to join the migration of ducks who do pretty much what they want.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other wildlife that the area is famous for, in particular grass snakes and newts, but I think it;s still too cold for them to make an appearance. Hopefully in a couple of months.

Its going to be a quiet week now, as Im on late shoofts all week so it makes it awkeward to get out for any significant time, so makes thinking about walks pointless (yes I am nesh, and no Im not keen on doing night time walks when the tem is dropping so much). However next week, I am off to stay for a week in a converted victorean train carrage, somewhere in the middle of nowehere near the wash. Im hoping the weather turns nice, and I can go exploring somewhere new. Time will tell but fingers crossed. Till then, have some very poor quality images of the varius birds around Worsbrough. And dont forget if you want to support my pointless life....
