Hey, thought I would bring ya'll up to speed on what already has been implemented, what is under development and what is planned for the future of the OholCurse.com website.
Features available:
User account creation using the in-game implemented third-party authorization system. This stops people who do not own the game to sign up for a user account.
Daily automatic import and processing of all the public OHOL logs, including life and life name logs, curse logs, food logs and the map logs.
Player search by character names, curse names, leaderboard names and player hashes
Player profile pages containing all curses/trusts/forgives, lives, curse reports and leaderboard records
Personal contact management system to label and nickname any user you wish. These will be displayed in all curse/trust/forgives on any player profiles, on the leaderboards, as well as on your dashboard.
Personal user dashboard with overviews and managing capabilites over your contacts (not same as friends), overview over the lastest curses, trusts and forgives sent to your profile, as well as functionality to upload your "yumlog.txt" file to file Curse Reports on the griefers and expose their curse names. You also have an overview over all your uploaded reports.
Daily, weekly and all-time game leaderboards for an ever expanding section of game objects. The ones you have will also be displayed on your player profile.
Name search / randomizer to help you find/pick names for your children, or perhaps for your brand new Eve family. Search from the extensive list of 98 575 first names and 140 619 last names, all these names are the ones that will work when used in-game.
Timezone configuration for selecting your local timezone so all dates/times on website show when it happened in your local time, rather than in UTC.
Darkmode configuration for those of us that likes not being flashbanged by websites when opening/browsing them.
Features being developed:
Theme selector to choose between different color styles to display the website in, with variations for both light and dark modes.
Friend system to add users and communicate with them through a private messaging system. This one is for my non-modded friends who want to link up with other non-mod/modded users they meet in game.
Features planned down the line:
User/player achievements awarding badges for completing/passing certain milestones
Family statistics and overview over each family member
Charts for historical leaderboard records so we can see the development of the record and the time it took to beat the previous record.
Job/task generator for people who wish to have a recommendation for a specific purpose for their next life. Will be configurable by difficulty level and biome-specific tasks.
